I kinda phrased it wrong, I more or less meant a situation like Smuggers list where some fans feel the need to add it to the S tier solely because they feel they have to for different reasons besides them actually liking it themselves.

I'll probably make my own tier eventually, but for now I'm just here to say that this is a much, much more visually interesting (and therefore engaging) way to do a 'rank the movies' thread than just going with standard text. Some of this might actually stick in my mind for a while.

Also, this thread has unexpectedly made me a huge fan of that Son of Godzilla poster everyone's using. The Kamacuras and Kumonga look like serious threats, surrounding Godzilla and Minya like they are, and the orange atomic ray and smoke rings combined with the orange of the Kamacuras' eyes really makes the whole image stand out visually. That is a very cool poster.

Well, this one stands out. The top two tiers are unremarkable outside of the inclusion of TPE, but then you've got GvSG in the third tier while GvMGII and GvD are below GINO... That's a little bit of a head-scratcher. I can understand putting the latter two at the bottom, but what gives the famously shoddy SG a pass?
