I find myself... Not not being able to take Space Godzilla seriously. Just because of the name.

They didn't go and call Biollante "Plant Godzilla" or Ogra "Clone Godzilla."

Anyone else struggle with not appreciating Space Godzilla because of the way they named him?

i prefer if the kept the name "AstroGodzilla". still SpaceGodzilla's a better name then CrystalGodzilla so there's that.

She looks way more like Godzilla than Orga or Biollante do, so I get it. I think it works. I like the design a ton.
Drink 32oz of water a day, exercise daily for at least 30 minutes, take your meds as prescribed, eat healthy (count calories), reach out to your support network when you need them, practice basic hygiene, learn from your mistakes, forgive yourself for your failures, admit when you're wrong, be humble when you're right, be nice to animals, and try again.

Not really... Can't think off the top of my head any monsters I dislike simply because they have an awkward name. If anything, I wish they'd gone a more original route with the design instead of making him a crystal Super Godzilla. But the name never bothered me. He's a Godzilla from space!

While I do find the name "Spacegodzilla" corny sounding I nonetheless like the monster on its own merit.

The name is fine with me. I like SG; It's the movie that I find sub par.

SpaceGodzilla's name is fine. He's an extraterrestrial crystalline Godzilla clone, it suits him. It's not any less than creative than "Mechagodzilla" or "Super Godzilla" or "Burning Godzilla."

Spacegodzilla works just fine as a name. Mechagodzilla's name is unchanged, so why should the same be done for SG?

It’s the movie, not the monster at all, they also gave SpaceGodzilla enough interesting powers and abilities to make him much more different then Godzilla.

I don't really mind his name.
He's just such a dumb and unoriginal concept.
"Uuuhhh, we know we just had two Godzilla clones in our latest movies, but uuuuhhhh... at least we'll wait a few more years to give you another Super-X!"

Let me get it clear: I like Godzilla's clones. Biollante, MechaGodzilla and Orga were interesting concepts, but SpaceGodzilla... ugh.
Maybe if they waited more years and twisted his design a lot more, but I don't really know or care for him. His movie sucks.
