I am a fan, I just hate vinyl and am sick of this trend of kaiju only getting vinyl representations. Even more so when the heroes of the story get articulated representations like uprising and gridman. Feels like a huge middle finger and a waste of potential

Note likely, this is a high end statue company.

"Brick" generally means a figure with little articulation which is why it's weird he'd ask a statue company not to make a figure without articulation.

Because the two are interchangeable? X-PLUS figures have no articulation yet they're still called "figures" not "statues".

No, "figure" just means a representation of something, pictorial or sculpted. Statues are figures but not all figures are statues.

Another way to look at it, when a woman has a nice body, a classy way people will say it is "she has a nice figure". Why a statue company calls themselves Dream Figures is puzzling, probably marketing Dream Figures sounds better than Dream Statues. Regardless, new 2019 product reveal tomorrow and it looks quite detailed just from this shot, all the tiny scales.

Nope, thanks for sharing, wonder if that Mothra Larva might be in scale to the NECA Mothra.

It honestly amuses me that the most screen accurate figures of the monsters so far are the Gashapon toys lol. Mothra looks fantastic, both the Larva and Imago.
