Electrocution doesn't necessarily mean death; the term can be used to refer to injury by electric shock as per Oxford and Merriam Webster
Electrocution Lawyers PLLC defines electrocution as a death by electric shock, but I'm not gonna argue about it. I think the "cute" in electrocute comes from "execute" and the injury definition comes from repeated informal use. Either way, no one has died from an electric shock in a kaiju suit.

I would have preferred "shocked to his shammies."

Yeah I imagine the Gamera suit or other monster suits/props caught fire since they had Gamera shoot real fire from his mouth and the prop for the flying scenes.

Not really a calamity, but I'd like to mention the time on the set of vs Hedorah that Kenpachrio Satsuma's appendix burst, he was rushed into the hospital and had to have the appendectomy while still in the Hedorah suit.

Even though several suit actors have been injured/nearly killed, at least their filmed incidents lead to some of the most iconic scenes. I love the shot of Godzilla on fire in TOMG.

And Godzilla's head briefly catching fire in M vs G.

Well, this is the best I can do on finding mishaps with Gamera films.

And I love that instead of being upset the suit actors agree and say "well I didn't die, and suit catching fire is cool".
