Uploading your own image to the forum would require the forum to have to host the image. Over time that builds up and wastes space on the server, slows down everything else, and costs more money than if you just upload it somewhere else and hotlink it.Rhedosaurus wrote:UltramanGoji wrote:Because that takes up space. Allowing you to upload images here would make the forums slow down like crazy.
But doesn't posting pics from other artists via their DA accounts (Matt Frank/Kaiju Samurai) also do the same thing? I mean, what's good for the goose is good for the gander, right?

Whenever I go to search something I have to wait almost a minute, or else I get the "You have to wait 50 seconds", it's a bit tedious if I'm trying to find a specific page from a specific topic thread.

Type out a sentence like so, then highlight it:Rhedosaurus wrote:How do I make sentence that leads to a link when you click on it?
and click URL:
then, put an "=" after the first "url" and paste your link.
And there you go!

okay i'm still actually kinda new hear despite coming last year and only got my first warning today. so how many warnings do you get before permanent ban? not saying i'm gonna do it myself but questions like this would be pretty helpful to any new person who comes here.

Re: The Commonly Asked Questions Thread
As a former mod & admin, I can tell you that yes, warnings do expire after a certain amount of time. I believe the time it takes for one to expire has increased considerably since I voluntarily stepped down years ago (could be wrong tho), but I remember there being issues in the past with some users actually abusing this by racking up warnings then disappearing for the amount of time it would take for the accumulated warnings to expire, then return to start shit all over again.gottatalktothefake wrote:do warnings wear off after a certain period of time?GodzillavsJason wrote:7 warnings is a permanent ban.tyrantgoji wrote:okay i'm still actually kinda new hear despite coming last year and only got my first warning today. so how many warnings do you get before permanent ban? not saying i'm gonna do it myself but questions like this would be pretty helpful to any new person who comes here.

so how long does it take for them to expire now? Months, i'd assume.

Re: The Commonly Asked Questions Thread
As far as I can tell, it's quite a while. I'd say more than a year, at the very least. I don't know a way to figure out exactly how long, and maybe an Admin can step in here to explain. But from what I can see from older warnings on user accounts, it seems to be over a year.tyrantgoji wrote:so how long does it take for them to expire now? Months, i'd assume.

How does one exactly join the fantasy match sub forum? There’s a thread explaining how but it’s so rude and unhelpful it should just be deleted imo.

But as far as I know words are still censored when you use the quote tags.
