King Kong Lives is a guilty pleasure of mine actually. Pretty much cheesy monster romp dumb fun especially if you want something to laugh at.

And yes I'll even take it over Peter Jackson's King Kong ironically my least favorite King Kong movie given its overuse of excess, dragging on for too long with pacing issues and being well over 3 hours long which it did not need to be.

I liked ‘76 to be quite honest. I prefer ‘05 when it comes to remakes and the lack of interesting Skull Island megafauna aside from Kong himself and the giant snake was a bit disappointing, but it’s a nice film that does a decent job of updating King Kong to the then-modern day
Jessica Lange is also the best Kong girl

This is the best and most accurate description of Kong '05 I've ever seen.

I've for all intents and purposes never seen King Kong Lives. I was able to watch a few minutes of it when I was maybe seven or eight, but all I vaguely remember is Kong throwing an earthmoving vehicle of some kind, and attempting to give the female ape a snake as a gift, which she turned down. I may also have tried to record the movie, but I'm not sure; years later, we discovered that one of my brother's VHS tapes had a few minutes of mysterious footage we'd recorded at some point and then forgotten about. It showed a huge, bipedal ape-like creature that I assume must have been Kong standing on top of a hill, being attacked by the military, and counterattacking by throwing boulders. Does that sound like anything from KKL?

Minya is better than the baby Godzilla we got in G vs Mg2. Minya had an adorable cuteness, while the baby Godzilla was made overly cute.

His design in Final Wars however managed to be fairly cute, and still recognizable as Minilla.

Final Wars Minira looks very much like plastic. Showa Minira looked a lot more organic.
