When man and kaiju work together

Usually, man and monster don't work as a pair. One is trying to defend themselves as the other is smashing all in its path. However, we have had times when man and monster have worked together to stop a mutual threat. The obvious one is G vs Hedorah. Neither man nor Godzilla had the power to kill Hedorah, but their combined effort brought down the environmental disaster. Then we also have ToMG, where Titanosaurus's weakness allowed Godzilla to finish off his robot double.

You might also include IotaM, as the humans brought down the aliens, and then Godzilla and Rodan sent KG back into retreat.

Opportunist or saving their own asses. Their original plan was to let Destroyer kill Godzilla but they realized even if they stopped Godzilla's meltdown they'd be stuck with Destroyer who is like Godzilla before he mellowed out over the years i.e. stupidly aggressive.

Although...it is a shame Gamera 3 ended when it did.

I also have to admit even though I hate vs. SpaceGodzilla as a film...
the scenes of Godzilla & Moguera teaming up & laying the smack down
on LameZilla are pretty awesome.

I disagree. I think it was a perfect way to a trilogy and letting the viewer decide what happens. Does Gamera win or not? Sometimes ambiguous endings are good.

the Gyaos Swarm.

The ending is fine...even if the film is IN MY OPINION highly overrated.

I understand why many, MANY kaiju fans love Gamera 3 & the film
looks amazing for its budget as well as having two of the greatest
kaiju fight scenes in history...but...

I wholeheartedly agree. I mean I really like Gamera 3, what it does well it does magnificently. However Gamera 2 is just a more coherent and well structured film overall.

Requesting Mothra's help in Ghidrah lead to Godzilla and Rodan joining the defense of Earth against Ghidrah. (Similarly, in vs. Megalon Goro orders Jet Jaguar: "Get Godzilla! You'll find him on Monster Island.")

Godzilla and the other monsters continued fighting the Kilaaks even after the Monsterland control device was destroyed by the Fire Dragon.

Minya received some coaching from Ichiro on how to beat Gabara.

Gengo and friends destroying Godzilla Tower from the inside put an end to the Nebula aliens' control of Ghidorah and Gigan and gave Godzilla the time he needed to mount a counterattack.

Nanbara and Professor Miyajima used the latter's pipe to short the Mechagodzilla control device. (Geez this happened a lot in the later Showa Godzilla movies.)

There's also WotG. During the fight, the masers fire on Gaira. It's possible this helped weaken Gaira and give Sanda a better chance at winning.
