I mean, we're only two films in but so far the Monsterverse films have a trend of ending with a Fatality.

G 2014: Fly Swatter & Kiss of Death.
K:SI: Gutted. Heck King Kong uses his flail like Scorpion's spear at one point and Jordan is a big enough nerd I wouldn't put it past him.

G:KOTM might break the trend by having King Ghidorah retreat back into space like on the old Showa films, I just hope if they do kill him it's in a way that they can bring him back as Mecha-King Ghidorah should they wanna explore that and if there's more films after Godzilla vs Kong.

Speaking of which, yeah unless there's a third monster, I don't think there will be a Fatality in Godzilla vs Kong. Even if either of them die, it's gonna be in a more respectful manner, GA would be upset to see them get blown up or have their head shot off.
