Today, at the edge of our hope...

At the end of our time, we have chosen to believe in each other.

Today we face the monsters that are at our door.

TODAY WE ARE CANCELLING THE APOCALYPSE!

Babelfish. We used Babelfish.

As far as I'm concerned, Toho just needs to experiment more. They went through the trouble off associating all the different franchises and characters, and the only time anything ever comes of it is Zone Fighter, War in Space, and the Choseishin series.

So what if getting King Kong is hard? Screw him. Pit the Gotengo against Frankenstein, he's public domain. Make King Ghidorah battle the Daisazer. Have a crossover of Mothra and Zilla... maybe team up to fight a Leviathan and Battra league of evil.

Godzilla X Dogora. Like, really. I'm getting sick of waiting on this.

It's like, they went through all this trouble to turn Godzilla and their other properties into the vast comic book-like shared universe and they never bother to reap the fruits. Like in Gransazers, Hiroshi Koizumi COMES BACK as CHUJO... AGAIN! But... it isn't until the Sazer-X movie that anything becomes of this. Gigan, KG, Zandolla, Hedorah (okay okay... Deathball was obviously Hedorah, but still), and all the other bajillion space monsters hadn't appeared in that timeline, it would have been easy to stick them into any one of those series.

Instead we get "Cyabreon," "King Zero," and who can forget the terrible menace of... "Winemiller." Godzilla X Winemiller... now THERE'S a winner.

...which brings me to what I REALLY want to see: solo King Ghidorah movies. I want to see all the worlds he's destroyed, and all the two-bit space monsters he's trashed (Showa Defrog... I'd watch it) and civilizations that have been lost forever.

I'm not doubting him for a minute, but wouldn't you gain so much more respect for him if you could actually SEE what happened on, say, Venus?

Of course, it should go without saying that what we all really want to see is Godzilla X those giant slugs from prophecies of nostradamus.
You're mistaken if you think you're a match for Guilala.

Godzilla vs Gamera

The credits open with a meteorite shower. It was seen all over Japan, with reports of strikes in remote areas. Soon after, a freighter is attacked and sunk by Godzilla. On the opposite side of Japan, Gamera wakes up and surfaces. They both come ashore, and damage ensues.

Some friends hike into the country side, wanting to find one of the meteors. They arrive at a town near the site, and are warned not to go to the meteor. People have disappeared doing that. The friends go anyway, and they feel that they're being watched. They set up a trap, and it goes off, but they find nothing in it but some kind of oily substance. One of the friends then starts to act strange.

The military deal unsuccessfully with Godzilla and Gamera. The monsters eventually meet, and a fight ensues. Gamera is wounded and forced to retreat. Godzilla continues northward, seemingly on course to something.

meanwhile, the friend acting strange suddenly departs. His two companions follow him, and discover another meteor site. This one is lorded over by the military. They're caught and questioned, and then sent to station 1. Their friend is locked in isolation for the trip. At Station one, our characters learn that a few of these meteors were carrying dragon-like lifeforms. Their friend was infected by one. Meanwhile, an uncaptured dragon has been growing, and its link to the infected friend tells it where to find the other dragons.

Godzilla gets closer to Station 1, and the army attacks with full force. During this attack, the grown dragon arrives and saves the other dragons. The four of them combine, and the now much larger dragon flies off. Godzilla pursues it. The dragon reaches full size, still controling the friend, and his companions are trying to free him. It seems impossible. Godzilla soon battles the dragon, and it's a difficult battle. Gamera, feeling the danger to Japan, heads off to the fight, and joins Godzilla in the battle. The friend is freed from control by an unexpected electric shock, and the dragon is killed by the heroic duo.

Here's another one:

Godzilla vs The Black Monitor

This is a time of the unethical. A time when cloning has developed into a secret practice. Scientists in Japan quietly hide their projects from public media and recieve private and classified investment from companies that want to cure the diseases and disabilities. This is where we meet our protagonist. A maniacal doctor, hellbent on killing Godzilla. He was the leader of the frost cloning team, but was fired when he suggested taking G-cells and combining them with that of a human. Despite the criticism, the doctor continues his work from the confines of his dusty basement.

Rodan is spotted in Yokohoma. The city is obliterated, since the defenses established by the JSDF are insufficient. Even their machine, MOGUERA, the pride and joy of millions of eager investors, failed to kill Rodan. Back in Tokyo, the protagonist successfully creates a proper string of DNA for a Godzilla-human hybrid. A month passes, and the project is successful. The hybrid is eight feet tall and is covered from head to toe in black scales. He has a small line of dorsal fins on his back, resembling those of his look-a-like. However, his body is that of a human. His face is normal, but he has a twisted jaw and jagged teeth protruding from it. He also has the intelligence of a well-educated adult. He gives himself the name Black Monitor, after the lizard which he feels he resembles. The doctor helps guide him down the path of good. Sadly, Monitor does not feel he's normal, so he runs into the woods so he can let out his emotions. In the process, he learns that through anger, he can increase his size to that of Godzilla.

In that same moment, Godzilla steps off the island of Hokkaido, leaving behind a trail of destruction. The Black Monitor, in a state f maniacal anger and panic, runs into Tokyo, despite the scientist warning him when he was little not to do so. The JSDF attacks, but like with Rodan, they are beaten easily by the Monitor. He then dives into the water in a desperate attempt to flee from the terrified people around him.

The doctor is questioned by authorities the next day. He's taken to the JSDF building to recieve his punishment for his 'crime'. He tells the commander that the Black Monitor is the only hope for civilization to continue and live without the fear of Godzilla. The commander is skeptical, but any further talk is cut off by Godzilla AND Rodan arriving in Tokyo. From the murky depths of Tokyo Bay, the hybrid decides he should try and make friends with someone...and why not the Kaiju? After all, they are similar to him. The Monitor walks up to his reptile 'father' and tries to talk to him. Godzilla is instantly taken aback and they clash, resulting on the Monitor's defeat. As it would happen, the commander watches the brawl and sees that the Monitor may have a shot. They relase the doctor reluctantly, telling him to make the Monitor do their bidding. He agrees.

Two days later, the Monitor returns to the doctor, apologizing for his outrage. He then confesses that he doesn't like living. He feels like an outcast, the white amongst the black. The doctor says that people will care for him if he is able to stop Godzilla. Believing his creator fullheartedly, he sets out for Tokyo. Godzilla arrives and snorts disapprovingly at the abomination. For all he knew, the Monitor was a sideshow freak. Once again, they duke it out. There is no interference, as the entire world watches the two fight. The Black Monitor manages to impale Godzilla with his hand and tear open part of his chest. Godzilla leaves, but not without a bang. He unleashes an Atomic Ray that burns Black Monitor's face and upper chest. The whole world, and especially the doctor, celebrate joyfully.

Two weeks later, the Monitor finds himself in a similar position as he was before. In a basement, alone, unappreciated. The doctor was busy with his new job, leaving him in a solemn stillness. Finally, he cracks. The doctor comes home to fond the Monitor had overdosed on drugs, a note next to his body. "I choose to die, because living has only become a burden that I can no longer bear."

Eh? You like?!

I think Krystalak and Obsidius should be in a movie, following the story line of Godzilla unleashed.

Um, you want a movie based on an unfinished game? Then the movie will be let down like the game.

We've already had a crystal kaiju with SG. However, Obsidius might work. Godzilla films have a close relationship with volcanos, anyway.

I don't think that would necessarily be the case.

The game is unfinished, so what? Having movies on finished games hasn't helped anyway.

Rebooting Godzilla Vs. Mechagodzilla!

What if Earth is invaded by an entirely mechanical alien race? These aliens believe all forms of organic life are an abomination, and plan to wipe out humanity and consume the Earth's material resources. After much destruction, we manage to temporarily repel our invaders through our combined military might and human resourcefulness. When the aliens learn of Godzilla, they are shocked at how advanced and powerful he is, and become convinced that they must create a machine that is even more powerful. They build Mechagodzilla on their newly established moon base. Then, they proceed to unleash their most powerful weapon against the Earth, in a final effort to conquer the planet. It is now up to mankind to find and revive the King of Monsters, before all of the Earth is destroyed...

Room for lots of military-on-monster and monster-on-monster conflict in this one, and the mecha-aliens can be portrayed to be symbolic of any current tech fear that society has. Plus, we can always throw in another monster on the alien side (KG, Gigan) or on Earth's side (Mothra, Rodan, Anguirus). Not to mention, mecha versions of any of those monsters, heh heh....

Could not agree with you more, dude. A lot of my favorite Toho movies are the craziest, freakiest ones. Frankenstein Conquers the World, Gargantuas, their Kong movies, Space Amoeba, Hedorah. I love when Toho goes off the rails, and I'd love to see more like that.

I talked about it a little bit in the general discussion board, but Kong v Frankenstein seems like a sadly missed opportunity that wasn't even considered. I think more cross over into Gothic/Classic/Universal horror would have been kitschy, insane awesomeness too. Giant Wolf Man? Sure! Atomic Dracula/vampire? Why the skreeonk not! Mothra vs The Mummy would be insane (if one-sided, the whole moths eating old fabric thing).

I agree with wanting more Toho cross overs too. Would have been awesome to see the Dogora, the Space Amoeba monsters or the Gargantuas worked into the Godzilla canon. It was a long time coming, but it's pretty damn sweet that Mogeura made it in. I WISH Godzilla vs the Devil had been under consideration. I'm not totally on board with the idea, but I'd watch the shit out of Batman vs Godzilla. The fact that Godzilla vs Cthulhu has never been on the drawing board is downright depressing. How about some giant Matangos? Sky's the limit, mother-fuckers!

Godzilla vs King Galaxian

It is the year 1980. 5 long years since Godzilla was last seen. A NASA colony on the moon is under attack by a rather unknown entity. The colony is wiped out in a matter of seconds and the moon is utterly destroyed and particles of the moon are absorbed by this unknown monster. NASA officals are angry that one of their colonies was destroyed. NASA see a digital photo of the unknown beast that was taken by some members of the colony before it was destroyed but the photo is rather blurry. Back in Japan, a scientist named Professor Kenjo Nakajima is studying the digital photo of the unknown creature. He is greeted by a mysterious old man who tells him about the monster. He says that the monster is called King Galaxian. He shows the professor a photo of what the beast looks like. The creature is described as being 120 meters tall and weighs around 100,000 tons and has blueish skin with spiny textures, a dragon esque head with a nasal horn. Galaxian has huge wings with a 400 feet wingspan. Galaxian has a tail with a dagger like spike at the end and can fire a ultra powerful ray beam. Once Galaxian destroys a select planet, he absorbs the planet's particles to substain himself.

Nakajima goes to the JSDF to show them the picture given to him by the old man. General Naki says that he caught a sighting of the creature while flying one of his jets. He then instructs his men to gear up for battle. Meanwhile a American scientist named David Stewart is visting his college friend Yoshi Sano who is busying working on a machine which he calls Akai. Sano says that Akai is a dependable robot who can do anything you ask it to. Both Stewart & Sano are told to leave their area because a monster (Galaxian) is coming. They leave Akai behind. Galaxian lands on an airport and utters a very loud cry. The military attack the creature but the shells have no effect and Galaxian is amused that the Japanese military can't stop him.

Galaxian unleashes his powerful ray and it takes out the military tanks in a matter of seconds and crushes a few soliders beneath his feet. Galaxian then destroys all the buildings around him. Akai is flying towards him and challenges Galaxian to a fight. The strange monster nods and flies off to an uninhabited island near the Pacific Ocean. Akai meets Galaxian and grows to 50 meters. Galaxian tries to end the fight early by firing his beam at Akai but Akai dodges and taunts the monster before him. Akai & Galaxian trade blows until Galaxian uses the dagger point at the end of his tail and impales Akai and rips the robots end off and destroys the remains. Galaxian gloats until a blue atomic ray is fired at him from underwater. Galaxian heads near the water until the atomic ray strikes him again this time in the face. Godzilla emerges and challenges Galaxian. Both monsters roar at each other for awhile. Godzilla makes the first move and fires his atomic ray at Galaxian. Galaxin suffers a tiny bit of damage is amused. Godzilla fires again but realises that each time he hits this strange creature before with his atomic ray Galaxian gets stronger with each hit. Godzilla charges into Galaxin but is pushed back by this new monster's un-godly power and is picked up & thrown right into an island mountain. Godzilla gets up but is hit right in the chest by Galaxian's beam and is punched repeatedly in the face. Godzilla crawls towards the ocean but is stomped on and left for dead. Prof Nakajima watches the footage and is shocked that Godzilla is easily beaten. Nakajima goes to Dr. Stewart & Yoshi Sano and tells them to make a device to revive Godzilla. Both men agree and start work. The JSDF general is surprised by how powerful this new monster is. No one knowns how to stop this new monster. Suddenly the mysterious old man appears again.

He says that King Galaxian can be beaten. He says that the only way to stop Galaxian is by infusing power from an ancient race into Godzilla. The device made to revive Godzilla is made and The JSDF asks the old man how to infuse the power from this ancient race. Old man agrees and the crew direct the device and it is a success. Godzilla is revived and fires a brand new beam which is red in color and the old man calls the beam "Spiral beam" and says that the Spiral beam is Galaxian's weakness. Godzilla then heads for Galaxian's location which is in Tokyo. Godzilla arrives and crushes some buildings in his path and spots Galaxian three miles away. The two monsters roar at each and Godzilla leaps onto Galaxian but is thrown off. Godzilla & Galaxian trade punches. Galaxian fires his beam and it hits Godzilla in the chest and Godzilla staggers. Godzilla is impaled by Galaxian's tail and is tossed around Tokyo like a pinball into buildings. Godzilla is knocked out. Galaxian puts his foot onto Godzilla and leaps up crushes Godzilla beneath his weight. Foam is coming from Godzilla's mouth. Godzilla's eyes grow red & fires the "Spiral Beam". It hits Galaxian and sends him flying off of Godzilla. Godzilla fires again and it destroys Galaxian. Godzilla then turns Tokyo into a sea of fire and roars in victory. Godzilla travels to a volcano and goes into the volcano.

Professor Nakajima and his friends look at the damage caused by the monsters and states that as long as there is evil, Godzilla will always be there to protect the earth. They all weep for the victims of this monster war.

I apologize for making this rather long but it is the best I can come up with. Feel free to offer some comments. :)

Interesting, I assume this takes place in the Showa era, right?
