NO

Im sorry but Halo 4 and Halo CE anniversary are going to suck. Halo 4 is going to be bad because it doesnt even take place on Halo (Reach atleast made refrences to the ring to tell you of it's existance). Not to mention there are no marines, no UNSC vehicles and most importantly the game is going to feel really empty without The Covenant. Forerunner machines? Not going to cut it. Flood? It will get extremely boring after a while. Rebels? That would make Halo 4 Call of Duty that takes place in the future. Those two combined with the fact that Bungie isnt making the games puts alot of doubt on my mind.

I dont see a point in buying the Halo 1 anniversary edition. Its literally a carbon copy of Halo 1 with an option that lets you change graphics. Wow, big f*cking deal. Im not going to waste $60 on a game thats literally worth around $5 these days just for the "improved graphics".

As a major halo fan I am excited. HCEA looks good and for the price I think its worth it. Most games just do an HD revamp but the game is adding a lot. Worth $40 if you add it up. 1 map= $3.33. 7x3.33= 23.31+ $5 Multiplayer + $5 Campaign + $5 Online Coop + $3 Firefight + $5 Forge/Theater = Roughly $46. (The cost estimates were just me saying what the average person would pay and multiplayer is from the map packs.) If you break the game down then it is actually generous.

Secondly, Halo 4 should be good. I am sure there will be new baddies along with old in the game. I think the Spirit of Fire might make a return and explain why they were never found but that is besides the point. EX- Orginal Halo workers are working on the game and they have been working for 2 years on it. If you combine the total amount of time to its estimated release date that is about three and half years. A year and a half better then the call of duty games average production time and equal to a normal Halo game.

Lastly, Halo is not Call of duty. Even though there is a new game roughly every year the story is what keeps me coming back. The main story developer is staying on so you can garantee a good plot. Graphics and Controls are going to be roughly the same except for some minor tweaks. Multiplayer should be garanteed gold since they can't screw up the basic gametypes and lastly as long as they keep forge, theater and add a few things it will be Halo.

Don't whine and complain about a game that you have not seen because the only trailer has been CGI. So he had a jetpack, so he looked different, WHO CARES! Halo 3 had chief walk and watch the covenant turn on the portal which did not happen! There was the trailer (my picture) when master chief survives a plasma mortar and kicks a chieftan in the face! That did not happen! Trailers that show CGI are not good references for games! What matters is the final result. When the game comes out and IF it sucks then scream your head off and proclaim you were right all along. But until then don't judge a game that you know nothing about on a teaser trailer. I will be more then willing to eat my own words when the game comes up but until then we shall wait and see.

So before anyone complains about me trying to anger someone let me tell you some words of wisdom from Master Chief,
" Relax... I'd rather not piss this thing off (Master Chief Halo 2)."

I'm looking forward to Halo 4 but I really can't say much on the topic because I don;t have a 360 so I've missed out on 3, wars, ODST, and Reach. (even though I REALLY want to play them).

Well to put it into perspective they were all good. Halo 3 had a fun but short campaign, Wars was a great stategy game, ODST had an awesome campaign, and Reach was the grand finale that Bungie promised and delivered. If I were to rate them it would be Reach, 3, Wars, ODST but thats just me.

I didnt really like ODST, it felt lacking to me (Firefight aside). Reach and Halo 1 are the best IMO. Wars also deserves honorable mention.

You just had a huge bitch fest why HCEA and Halo 4 will suck yet you say Reach was one of the best, Nope.

Reach sucked, and I can give you 5 reasons why if you want with no problem.

HCEA is just Halo: CE with better graphics so wouldnt that already make it the best on spot, do to it just being Halo: CE? It hasnt changed a thing, shits still overpowered, so yea its now the best or tie for the best Halo.

Yeah I did. I still say Reach is one of the best along with CE and Wars, regardless of your throughs on the matter. And It will remain that way until I actually try the game to see if my preliminary analysis was wrong.

Halo 4 is still really confusing me. And that's difficult to do.

It is most likely a forerunner dyson sphere/planet. Forerunners could create entire worlds so my guess is that this is either their homeworld or possibly what the forerunners secretely survived in. I can't say for sure but watching it explode at the end of the game should look awesome.
