Godzilla 1994 graphic novel
If anyone can go to SciFi Japan in their Godzilla/Toho section and look on one of their posts for 11-12-18, then you'll see what I saw: a graphic novel based on the unmade 1994 Godzilla film is going to be released online on Thanksgiving Day!

I just saw that too, the artwork looks really good also. Hopefully a physical copy will be coming after.

I know that they've been working on this for a very long time, it nice to see that it's finished. I don't think there will be a physical copy, seeing its an unofficial fan work.

Does it have actual input from the original script writers?

It's just a retelling of the script in graphic novel form.
Side note...do people not know how to copy and paste links?

Awww man, I remember reading about this freaking years ago. So exciting they finished it, can’t wait to read it! Also I had no idea Terry Rossio was actually involved - that guy is REALLY getting his revenge in respect of the Godzilla franchise these days, eh?

I guess it does, but it would still be copyright infringement if they tried to sell physical copies.

The author said that Terry Rossio gave him his blessing on posting the final product.

Sorry, I'm trying to avoid the link tax until the UK leaves the UE.

He tried to get a hard copy made for a while but no publisher was interested in it. Glad that it is going to be released for fans to enjoy

Wasn’t referring to you, more so to the OP who posted directions instead of copy/pasting the link to the webpage he was talking about.

Re: Godzilla 1994 graphic novel
Was it the 90s script that had a character that was like a survivalist among the cast? Someone summed it up as Burt from the Tremors series and that sounded like fun.
I think the 80s script had like a Snake Plissken lead against a Soviet master mind with a blade arm...that also sounded like fun.

I'm certainly intriged!
Does anyone know if it's going to be just 200+ images, a PDF, available to save and download or just read on the site, etc?9

Echoing this, missed it earlier but there was actually an interview with Todd Tennant posted on the main site. He covers some of this in more detail.

That would be me. I don't really know how to copy and paste, so forgive me, okay, I'm still new at this.UltramanGoji wrote:kingkevzilla88 wrote:UltramanGoji wrote:

By the way, what's an OP? I'm not up on too many abbreviations, either.

Hm I tried going to their site and it seems to be down. Hopefully they are just getting the stuff up and Toho didn't get angry at them or something.

Assuming that this is the right URL (and it looks right to me), http://americankaiju.kaijuphile.com/american-godzilla94/, it seems to be working fine for me at least.
