Think I'm gonna end up getting Ghidorah, not the best figure but if seen worse and I do really like how it looks on the screen

Huh. No matter how good it looks on the screen, doesn't excuse a half-assed vinyl...

Gotta be honest. The new Ghidorah looks like the old Cretaceous King Ghidorah, 'cept... worse. Like, FAR worse.

The mold itself makes me think they just sampled the mold of the Servum, butchered the heads into 3, painted it gold, and said "Yeah, that looks about right. What'chu think, Toho?" "Well, if we can approve N.E.C.A.'s original 1985 head sculpt, then we can SURELY approve this!" "Alright, let's put it out!"

Prepare to be chased out of this thread with flaming pitch forks.

Though, I do kinda like the figure as well. Just not in it's current state.

I kinda like its flying pose. Most KG figures have the same static pose.

ki kinda like static poses. Though, imagining the 3" tall Ghidorah in a static post would be hilariously bad. Flying makes sense for this one.

When I said it looked better, I meant it looked a tad bit less like a fishing lure. It's not the best (love that custom), but I like the design so I'll get him.

I saw it at HLJ today and for a hot second was like, "Sure why not", then I saw the price was almost $18 and just went,..nahhhhh.

Got Mecha G and Larval Mothra instead.

FYI, HLJ seems to be sold out of the following vinyls at this time: MechaKingGhidorah, Biollante, all versions of Kiryu.

So I have this problem, and I never thought to come to the forums to address it.
I bought the new 2018 Mecha King Ghidorah from hlj a few months ago and ever since I got it, the paint has been SUPER greasy. Like when I handle it, I put it down and there will be this greasy film on my hands. Has anyone else had this problem with the figure and is there a way to fix it? Also, are there any other figures I should be wary of that have this problem? I haven't gotten Gigan or any of the Mechagodzillas from hlj yet, and I'm worried that since they have the same metallic paint scheme as Ghidorah, they'll be greasy. Please somebody help me. Thank you.

Was the package left out in the heat at all before you got it? Or do you store it in an area with excessive heat? That might be a reason.

I got it during the summer, but my Mothra Imago and Larva were in the same package and were completely fine. Also I have left it in the same room since I got it and have touched it 4 times since I opened the package (I'm not even joking), and my room is a normal 69-71 degrees. Is there a way to fix the figure? I can't even touch the damn thing.
