If you look at a top down picture the necks look longer then the side view leads you to believe. As long as it can stand a little it’ll be a nice addition to my collection.

So people are pointing out Ghidorah might be a partial remold of the Servum figure (note the wings) -

It isn't immediately obvious to me that Ghidorah re-uses Servum's wings.

People keep saying this, and I'm the first one to bash the Anime series, but I frankly don't see this. They're DEFINITELY similar but when you compare photos they're sculpted different.

I am simply NOT impressed by the Anime Ghiddy's sculpt. It looks like a 'rush-job', like they were just trying to get it out there, to have something to show the fans. IF we see something more detailed, more striking, later on, then I would consider purchasing it. As it stands right now - no sale, Bandai... :(

This is a design I truly hope we get a MonsterArts of. Seeing those long necks full of balljoints would be glorious.

So, another piece - like G2017 - where Tamashii gets a 'free pass' on paint aps? Terrific... :?

....what? When have I EVER given Tamashii a free pass on anything, especially paint?

Frankly, they didn't get a free pass on '17. It looked like poop. The new Godzilla Earth's paint is FAR superior and what the original should have been easily.

A Ghidorah release can have various shades of gold and yellow, glitter, brown, etc. Just like the previous Ghidorah releases.

That looks like the most flat sculpt out of the whole Movie Monster Series thus far. Like the Godzilla eqivalent to the the recent 5" Ultra Monster (500) Series figures which often have extremely flat scupts anr coloration, too. If I just wasn't a completionist...

Why they didn't give it the Master Detail Movie Monster Series treatment (like Anime Mechagodzilla) is beyond me. Lesser sales numbers probably.

Is the Showa Gigan re-release a proper green color (rather than the blueish from the previous) or am I losing my mind?

yes I have it. I'd say it's sort of a dark(ish) Olive Green or Spruce Green.

I just got mine in today along with the Mothra imago. Yes he is green, a more accurate green than the Bandai Creations at that. He looks far better than the old one which used that weird blue.

Eeeeeeehh--- I kinda think it looks worse.

Should have painted the eyes red and gave it the "Theater Exclusive" style paint app. Semi Transparent (not full transparent. Sorta like a milky color). Gold with gold glitter infused in it.

People are already customizing it.

Something like the above but transparent and fully of glitter.

Added in 34 seconds:
I also think the sculpt would benefit with open mouths.

Is it the same color as the 2001 MMS or the 50th Aniv box version ?
