That's the exact same thing I was thinking when I saw it

All in all, it's a cool looking titan, but hopefully the ones that appear in KOTM are a tad bit more...original. Seriously, enough with the generic clover look-alikes lol.
Still pretty excited for the book tho.

I’m honestly disappointed in this new Titan, I was expecting something like the Rokmuto only with a more exaggerated tail or something
Yeah, Godzilla wins... sometimes. I mean, he was killed by Dr. Serizawa's patented bubble-bath formula, heartburn, missiles, and poor box office returns, got his ass kicked by a drunken, circus-escaped gorilla, then he was beaten by two newborn worms, yeah some “king”.

Damn, I was hoping it would be completely new.

Same. Imo a titan like Rokmutul would work perfectly as a ground based, earthquake causing monster.
Everything would have been better than a slightly bigger MUTO imo.

Looks like could be a Muto more developed for underground living. Disappointed it isn't new as well but also happy they haven't completely forgotten about them.

If anything this Muto Titan might just justify the threats the Mutos were to Godzilla. Seems to me that this is a full grown adult probably as old as Godzilla himself compared to the obviously younger ones from the film probably became active again when it heard the mating call.

Footage of the trailer, shows off the actual design.

Honestly its design remind me of the Insecticons from Transformers Prime

After seeing this it's definitely some kind of MUTO variation. The head and eyes are exactly the same as the others from what I can see here.

Yeah I'd say it's a fully mature Muto

Nothing to do with the new Muto, but after watching that trailer for the comic, I just had a moment of pure appreciation and love for Legendarys Godzilla design. It's just so freakin' beautiful & perfect :D

Goji's spines are the same as they were in the 2014 movie even though this is after 2014, possibly lending creedence to the

Gareth did say he would like to see some of the concept designs of the Mutos be used later, guess Legendary fulfill that wish.

I actually do like that design and given we are unlikely to see them again in a future movie or comic, it's kind of like one last hurrah for the Muto. Plus recycling unmade concepts is always nifty.

MUTOs should have been in the PS4 Godzilla game.

Yup, huge missed opportunity imo. I really hope they get into a game at some point

Them and King Kong.

So do we have a name for Grandpa MUTO here? Holy shit it's massive, it's bigger than Godzilla. And it's by itself? Sounds like it's stronger than the previous two combined.

After seeing the trailer, the mega MUTO actually looks kinda cool. It's not very original, but I like the design at the very least. Those spines and the magma legs are a nice touch.

And holy shit it's huge...

Well considering the other two were having babies O dont think it's that much more mature just a stronger sub species.
