I like Magaguirus. She's probably just as dangerous as Godzilla, just in a different way. Her speed and sadistic streak are just great.

Probably one of least favorite Toho monsters ever. Right down there with Orga, Kaiser Ghidorah and Monster X.

I like Megs design, actually. It's the pincers, I think. But, overall, she is kinda bland, I suppose.

It's Battra with claws. Very unoriginal.

I realize that. Was my first thought upon seeing the film on SciFi years back. But I still like it.

Personally, I think the film would've been better if it was just Battra, all powers included, with a set of pincers.

I must be the ONLY Orga fan.

I wouldn't call Megaguirus by Battra With Claws only because Megs is so streamlined and much faster, as well as a different color and has jaws instead of mandibles.

Overall, the appearance is too reminiscent of Battra. Toho should've known the comparisons would've arrived.

Now, I wouldn't say I'm an Orga fan, but I wouldn't say I dislike Orga either. It's certainly an original creation, so that's marks in it's favor.

One of the more realistic puppets Toho has used in their movies. Showa Mothra is the greatest, but Megaguirus was a well made critter. Too bad Sony overlooked the flaws that could be seen with the enhanced picture quality. (I'm referring to the wires controlling the puppet.)

Megaguirus could be described as Battra combined with a scorpion. Just look at that tail. Anyway, I like Megaguirus. She was quite the viscious fighter and I liked her colorful appearence.

Whatta you mean? It's a great movie, definitely in my top five kaiju films. I've never understood why GMK is considered so much better.
