Superman I believe has forged adoption papers from Pa and Ma Kent. I believe he was also given American citizen status by JFK

Also, All-Star Superman = epic DC animated gold.

Yeah, All-Star Superman was the best animated DC movie yet.

Also, have you been keeping up with current DC? Because they just brought Swamp Thing back.

I too enjoyed All-Star Superman. Now I want to read the graphic novels.

Swamp Thing came back in, I think, the last issue of Brightest Day.
I was mentioned in the SciFi Japan article about the appearence of extras on the Godzilla vs. Megalon DVD.

Well, DC is rebooting their universe. On one hand, as a relatively new reader, I'm glad they're streamlining the whole universe, because continuity had become way too convoluted, IMHO. On the other hand, now? Really? So all those stories I just got into, especially Geoff John's years-long GL saga, they just don't count anymore?

Superheroes and Continunity haven't been friends for a long time.

But as long as the stories are still enjoyable who cares

It's a retooling not a reboot so to speak. It's not like they're retelling everyone's origins again from what I remember reading and hey if so, who cares now people who've never jumped onto DC now have a perfect chance too and we've got some great writers on some series. JLA, Aquaman, and the two Superman books are going to kick ass.

GL and GLC arent being rebooted or retconned, just renumbered.

Some stories are new, some are just retooled.

I really do need to find out if my subscription comics are getting the shart...I read Superboy, Teen Titans, Legion of Superheroes, GL, GLC, GL:EW and Adventure Comics. I dont want to see Superboy, LoSH or Adv. Comics cancelled before they become teenagers (LoSH has already been skreeonk twice... since Supergirl and the LoSH).

Action Comics is pissing more people off being as it wont get to issue 1000. But Im sure this is just like Marvel's renumbering of HULK and Thor. Give it a year (or less) and theyll start double numbering it. Adventure Comics already got this treatment..

Also, the DCU, is getting a bit of a reboot with it now including Post-Flashpoint , is now including the Wildstorm into the main DCU. Martian Manhunter is now running Stormwatch. And Grifter and Voodoo have their own mags coming out.

MM the head of storm watch... Interesting.

Now to bump this shit with two books I'll be reading in the near future, DC Archives Doom Patrol vol one and DC Archives The New Teen titans volumes one and three. Yeah, it's time to get all classic DC up in this bitch but before that I'll continue my journey of reading all of Geoff Johns' work on the flash pre-final crisis.

So..

Hal Jordan was fired by the Guardians because he killed Corona (and GL rings shouldnt be able to kill a Guardian)

Sinestro is now a GL

Stewart is an outcast GL since killing Mogu.

And Kyle and Guy are being back-burner'd again.

NEXT MONTH! GL #1 and its NOT a reboot, just a renumber.

Im seriously debating cancelling all my DC titles (which is every title on my subcription service). Seriously, they took GL and GL:EW and put in FILLER BOOKS because of the Relaunch coming. War of the GLs needed ALOT more story then 10 issues...

Teen Titans is boring anymore and theyre boning Legion of Superheroes again.

Seriously, going to replace all my titles with Marvel titles

Remove:
GL
GLC
GL: Emerald Warriors
Teen Titans
Superboy
Adventure Comics
Legion of Superheroes

Add:
Thor
X-Men
X-Men Legacy
Uncanny X-Force
Uncanny X-Men
New Mutants
Deadpool
Wolverine
X-23

The whole Flashpoint thing is really confusing me. Could someone here explain to me what the hell in going on? The only thing I understood was it had something to do with The Flash in the beginning.

I refuse to read it. Im sick of their lackluster attempts to retcon shit. Im sick of all DC retcon crossovers. All their crossovers do is retconning things.

Zoom has altered the time line greatly and the flash(Barry) is the only one who knows the changes. That's all I know really, that and there's something going to happen that'll cause the world to change.

^Honestly, I think the hard on extends to the whole Silver Age Era of DC Comics with Geoff, Dan Dido ,and frequent contributor Alex"I'm God's Gift To Comics" Ross.
