Not really Godzilla per-se, but I thought this was interesting: Legendary is teaming with a Japanese studio called Sunrise for a live-action Gundam movie. It's kind of interesting to me because the MonsterVerse is pretty Legendary's main thing at the moment, and it's kind of neat to consider maybe they've found their niche in re-introducing Japanese works to the masses. Also, I sure can't wait for all the Godzilla/Gundam crossover speculation! (/s)

How insightful of you to predict people will say something they've already been saying based on the known stylistic differences of the two directors.

That's way more impressive than predicting a delay in release shortly before one is officially announced.

I hope the film will be good. There's zero evidence it will be of course, and plenty of circumstantial evidence suggesting it won't, but have a gander at my post history over the last couple years and you'll get an idea of my opinion. I have high hopes and low expectations.

They will definitely show footage, the question is whether it will be released publicly. In the case that it isn't, we will at the very least be getting detailed descriptions of the footage that we know are legitimate as opposed to reading the supposed reactions from test screenings. I'm not suggesting the test screenings didn't happen (they did), I am though saying that the descriptions of those could easily be people spewing crap.

We'd basically get the rundown on how the G14 marketing started. Footage at Comic Con not released to the public, first trailer only gets released in December.

Let's hope it doesn't come to that. ^^'

Here's a thought guys...you guys remember the cloudy red title card used in the trailers for Godzilla 2014? I was thinking...it'd be cool if for Godzilla: KOTM, they did that, but it was blue. Or maybe yellow cause of King Ghidorah. Here, all this is is a fan made title card for the movie and I slapped a blue tint on to give you a hint of what I mean:

We'll see what happens, but personally speaking I just don't want to wait more of a half-a-year for one official trailer.

You'll probably have to. But I was talking about G14's Oppenheimer teaser, and then the G14 panel.

It's dated July 21, 2013 on YT, and that's actually the last day that SDCC '13 ran that year.
