I think this could be cute and funny if aimed at an audience of maybe 3-7 year-olds, like Muppet Babies.

If we're talking kids' shows something like Trollhunters would be cool. A series contained to three parts with a beginning, middle and end with room for other potential shows.

In fact that would work for the 'World of Godzilla' too (a main Godzilla trilogy with spinoffs in-between).
