Honestly, I think some of them like King Kong vs Gabara look better than the ones on the site. It's really interesting seeing how they looked back then and I think by the time of match 30, the banners started becoming more like the ones we know of today.

Oh yeah, the banner of King Kong Vs Gabara looked a million times better then the one we have now.

Seems like Match 30 onward (back in the old days) brought the Godzilla font into the picture, and the rest before were modified to accomodate. Though honestly, while some look the same as they are now, I personally really love the Gabara vs. King Kong banner.

There, I revived the running joke and got the name of the match right, this thread is safe now .

Anyway, this was a good match.

I do think it's very similar to the fight at the end of Terror of Mechagodzilla just with Heisei Mechagodzilla instead of Godzilla. Nonetheless, it was an enjoyable read and had a fun fight.

Good job Thomas Eckert, nice to see more of your matches up. Also good work on the banner Nagoda, it looks cool (though I really liked the one soulgodzilla made).

But aside from that, congrats to Saw-U-In-1/2 for getting another match uploaded, and let me tell ya, it’s probably my favorite recent matches that he wrote.

Like I really like how he referred Mechagodzilla (Heisei) as Earth’s Mechagodzilla so it wouldn’t be confusing like Match 90, and the fight was very fun to read through and it’s nice to see Titanosaurus have an antagonist role and sided with Mechagodzilla (Showa).
