This is one of those movies that should stay un-remade. It's a classic, and truthfully I wouldn't like them trying to resurrect the concept again. KkvG was a one time monster mash.

If a remake was done, I'd want to see the end battle done in a city. You could have Kong using the buildings to help him fight. kong would climb up one, and then drop onto Godzilla from above, for example. It would be a more energetic fight.

King Kong vs Godzilla shouldn't even be CONSIDERED remade. A remake of the Godzilla franchise's most succesful film may sound like a neat idea at first, but really, I don't think they can pull it off like they did in 1962. People these days have so closed up minds that they don't even open up to the possibilities. That said, a KKvG remake? Not gonna happen.

People really don't open their minds to the possibilities when watching movies sometimes. Taking Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull for example, the film was trashed by critics by saying it was too unbelieveable, especially the atom bomb scene. Well, what about the tank off the cliff scene in Last Crusade? There's no way ANY human being could survive such a fall, and no one complained about that. The airplane in Temple of Doom. Realisitc? No. Did anyone complain? No. Now take the idea of King Kong vs Godzilla and put it in today's theaters. Guess what? IT'S GONNA GET SLAUGHTERED. Now take King Kong vs Godzilla released in 1962. Unrealistic. But you know? NOBODY COMPLAINED. Today's movie goeers always take reality in consideration, and when something unrealistic happens, they freakin' trash it.
And lets face it. The general audience don't give a skreeonk about Godzilla.
