God. Damn. I need new pants.

*Drools* Okay, that settles it, I'm gonna have to get both Battlefield 3 and MW3 this fall cause I can't decide on which I want more.

May both games do wonderfully!

As am I. However, am I the only one sick of the fanbase from both game franchises? I hear the Battlefield fanboys screaming about how BF is more realistic and super tactical hardcore, while the COD fanboys are screaming about COD's graphics and cinematic storyline....

I'm actually getting tired of it now myself. It doesn't help that both EA and Activision encourage the rivalry.

The game engine looks like crap (that tends to happen when you reuse the same engine for 4+ years). Gameplay probably hasn't changed either. I'll stick with Crysis 2 and BF 3 when it comes out personally.

COD's graphics and cinematic storyline
That is a very bold statement from even the most hardcore fanboy. BF3 will blow CoD's graphics out of the water. Not like MW3 already looks bland and terrible compared to a lot of current games, but BF3 will be on another level entirely.

Which is why they're fanboys. I, however, plan to just buy both Battlefield and COD.

I just pre-ordered MW3 and the poster looks pretty nice.
As for the CoD vs BF3 I could care less about BF I've played BF 1, 2 and BC and it just doesn't really appeal to me as a good game, despite the realistic features and the destructive environment(which is what MW3 could use, even if Infinity Ward doesn't use them, it's still a good game either ways.)

I think that I'm going to rent it. I enjoy the last two MW games (The second game had flaws but I still like it) and I hope it's just as good as the last two games.

I'm not really interested. After Black Ops, I'm starting to see a decline in the series and overall getting bored with it. However, I will get Battlefield 3, that's for sure! :D

^ Truth =/= Opinion it may be repetitive, but there's a reason so many people play it. Granted, the DLCs are a little expensive, but give the game a little merit!

Call of Duty rivals Valve on how they've been reusing the same exact engine since Call of Duty 4, with every entry into the series showing no changes. Drones will pay out $60 on a yearly bases for the same game they've played with a few different guns and maps, along with an asinine story, then proceed to never play the previous game. This tells other developers that creativity doesn't matter and screws with the release of other games because of the "Call of Duty season."

This series was actually respectable at one point, then it turned into the Madden of FPS.
