I agree with the jeager external weapons being a bad choice. I wish they would have kept them more integrated.

Well to be fair, we don't yet know these weapons don't transform into the body as usual. There's a shot of Bracer Phoenix in the trailer, and the guns around the chest aren't there. Also, in the final shot of the trailer, Guardian Bravo has a wrist mounted gun deploy, so it seems internal mounted weapons are still a thing.

The only Jaeger that has a pure external weapon is Saber Athena.

We had a few articles come out. Not sure but I thought there were issues with linking articles.

One was the director explaining that they felt the action outside the Jaeger cockpits felt like they were was no connection with the pilots inside the Jaeger. Hence where holographs are coming in. We can see this in the trailer where Avenger's pilots look at a holographic missile as it passes them. We'll see how the holographs work out.

Also apparently the little junk yard Jaeger is called Scrapper.

There's something about these that are quite a bit weaker than the Bandai ones. Maybe it is the weaker poises or Avenger's turbine. That said...I like the colors or details a bit more. Like I can see bits of paint missing and I like that. I actually really want the Bracer one, it looks way better for some reason with this toy.
