Love the drawing style. Great stuff. It's my preference that Godzilla not look like a dinosaur that much, but it's drawn so well, I'm digging' it.

Good ol' fred. He did a spinosaur gozilla too, IIRC.

Anyway, the design on the right where he's fighting th humanoids aint that bad, but the other two are just allosaur-GINO lovechilds.

I've always interpreted Godzilla to be either a synapsid or notosuchian based on his external anatomy's chimeric blend of reptilian and mammalian features, but that's still a really cool interpretation of the commonly accepted idea of him being a "dinosaur", regardless! Fred Wierum is quite masterful at depicting accurate dinosaur anatomy, even for fictional ones, and this is no exception.

Well, the title of the art is "Sad Rodan", maybe that's why?

The Rodan that was shared looks wonderful! The head looks wonderfully expressive and yet intimidating at the same time, and it works well. Probably one of my favorite redesigns that I've seen of Rodan.

Is that our local dino master by any chance?

I think he'd be offended by that suspicion.

I will confirm 110% that it is not me. I can't draw worth the life of me, more of a writer really. I've been using this username since I was more active in the Zoo Tycoon days, which is years and years ago at this point.

Seems like it's trying a bit too hard to be scary, sometimes less is more. That's just me though.

I would REALLY love to see how Anguirus and Varan would've looked in GMK. I can see it now... Anguirus appearing more like its prehistoric ancestor, the Ankylosaurus. With plated arms and legs, and jagged spikes on his head, back and tail. His behavior would be persistent, like a rabid dog, not letting go until he kills his enemy. Varan, however, would look almost like an iguana with shades of green and brown. He would strategize as he observes its enemy's movements and weakpoints, waiting for the right moment to strike.

I dig Anguirus's design, but the tail seems too short. Varan is too red to be modernized in to the GMK-verse. He should at least have some characteristics of an iguana.
