Netflix Instant watch- finds & suggestions

Postby o.supreme » Thu May 12, 2011 4:33 pm

Greetings All,

I know many people have talked about Netflix on different threads (there is one for Kaiju films on Netflix in the DVD forum), however I just thought it would be cool to make a thread as it seems Netflix is starting to offer more titles, even ones NOT on DVD.

I am going to assume most people here know Godzilla:TS entire 40 episode run is available (if not, now you know), but I just found 3 Marvel Animated series from the late 90's early 2000's (Spider-Man Unlimited, Silver Surfer & Incredible Hulk). Granted these have reappeared on Toon Disney in the last 2 years, its nice to have them available to watch whenever since they are not on DVD.

Feel free to post rare/new finds on Netflix Instant watch here, especially if they are not available on DVD
There has never been a "Scientifically Accurate" Dinosaur portrayed on any Television Show, Movie, or Documentary. Only what the human imagination can conceive, and I'm ok with that.

Phew...glad I downloaded these in 2009.

I havent used Netflix streaming since my father died. I remember you could see Spartacus Blood and Sand real time and they had all of Dead Like Me.

To be honest, I have been rewatching the entirety of Buffy the Vampyre Slayer on Netflix lately. Great series, give it a shot if you've never seen it.

Well maybe SOMEONE should read my facebook status updates. :P

Uhh... suggestions hmm?
Well Batman under the red hood is on there, as well as the two animated hellboy movies, the three volumes of the hanna barbara Godzilla, Some Marvel shows obviously, Gurren Laggen, Full Metal Alchamist, Naruto(for those who watch it), Bleach, and Deathnote. I think that should be enough for any nerd for now.

This is why I think they'll (the world!) never goto 100% streaming, ever. The whole point of home media was to watch a movie whenever YOU wanted. If the media can up and be removed, it defeats the purpose.

Another point of home media is to purchase the DVD's and support the companies, but not everyone follows that now do they?

Im sure if they ever goto a massive amount of streaming, like they do in Korea, youll be paying PPV rates for movies. Right now PPV is like $4 a movie for 24 hours. You'll probably be paying $9.99 for new releases if streaming ever takes off.

Watched the first 13 a couple of months back, but I'm loving the fact they have Bleach up there. 109 episodes is kinda lame considering where they're at on CN, but its cool to me.
