G2K was the first Godzilla movie I ever saw, back in 2001 I think?
I remember turning to my grandpa and saying
"This is the coolest documentary I've ever seen!"
I seriously thought it actually happened.
On a side note, Orga used to give me nightmares...

I didn't like how Millenian was mutated into Orga...the two would be a nice duo (yeah i know, they're linked together through the G1-cells or whatever, but stil)

The alien wanted Godzilla's cells to adapt, but didn't seem ready for the result. Whether it was the radiation or the strong influence of the G1 cells, the alien got more than it bargained for.

He's not one of my favorite favorite's, but I'm still partial to him. This is mainly because seeing G2K in theaters (I think I was 11) was one of the best G-Movie experiences I've ever had.

The best part about Orga was being able to absorb genetic material IMO. I might have liked him more if he could do that in video games. You know, just so we could like mess around with his appearance.

^ It would have been cooler if he had fought Anguiras or someone in G2k and absorbed their DNA. There's a lt of room to explore that idea I feel like

I know I wish that for the KWC in the posters it would show a mutated orga sometimes. Anggy Orga would look AWSOME.

One of my all-time favorites, Orga is (dare I say) adorable. He's a hunchbacked meat bag that shrieks. His shoulder cannon is unique, and he really felt like a fresh monster that was unique in the Toho multiverse. I'm struggling to find a toy of him, so he can't be too unpopular.

I like him too, but he's definitely not popular at all.

That's pretty much all there is dude.

*edit* Not sure if that linked correctly, but just search "Orga", and you'll get a list of results. A very small list.

Orga's alright I guess (Not a very memorable monster to be honest). And his suit sucked.
So I really won't be surprised if we never see him in another movie again. Unless if something like GFW happens in the next 30 years.

I could see him in another movie, but with a different origin. Make him a mutant human. That leaves all sorts of plot twists open.

What would be interesting is if Orga landed on Monster Island. All that kaiju dna could turn Orga into a formidable force.

This could work, but only in CGI. Theres no way in hell ythey could make a suit that mixes all these monster and move well.

I still like the idea of Orga having his G2k form but then morph into a more human/Godzilla style hybrid as a more "perfect" form. It would not only give the feel of a new original idea but give that feel as if Godzilla was fighting Ultraman/Zone Fighter/JJ/Kong/ETC human like character.

Orga owes half of his fans to the games, it was the games that showed how cool he is after all, I like him a lot and it's my little brother's favorite Toho Monster.

I think the concept for Orga was fantastic, a monster that can adopt foreign DNA into it's physiology, every franchise needs(has) a character like that. I think there was so much more that could have been done with it.

To get a little deeper, I think the strange nature of the monster and it's need to consume more genetic information, was most likely the result of interacting with specifically Godzilla's DNA. DNA so unique and mutated, I think it'd be a great plot point to play on the mystery of Godzilla's genetic make-up as being responsible for the way in which Orge reacted, and transformed.

Of course we have no comparison to make that judgement, the Millennian never "sampled" any other life-form, but I think the singlurly unique nature of Godzilla's DNA could have served as a fantastic foil for Orga's mission.

I liked Orga. It was a neat original monster with an ability not seen in the Godzilla series prior to then. However the problem with Orga was its execution in G2K.
I would've preferred that Orga made itself present earlier in the film rather than at the end (The 'Flying Rock' UFO doesn't count). With such little screen time for such an important aspect of the film, it's no wonder why many people look down upon Orga. Plus the film could've done better if Orga was present than that UFO. At times I forgot that I was watching a Godzilla movie and instead watching an alien movie.

Orga is really just short for Organism, correct?
