Digging around the stats for the site, and figured might be fun to report on the top 10 monster bios of last year in terms of traffic. Why the monster bios? Well should be no shock that they are the most popular section of the site.
Anyway, here are the top ten. This does reflect those that got updated got a definitive increase in traffic.
1. Godzilla (Heisei Series)
2. Godzilla (2014)
3. Godzilla (1954)
4. Godzilla (Showa Series)
5. MUTO
6. Moguera (Heisei Series)
7. Baragon (Showa Series)
8. Godzilla Junior
9. Giant Octopus
10. Mechagodzilla (Showa Series)
Yeah very Godzilla heavy list... also, the Giant Octopus making the list definitely gives me a smile.

Could really use some more obscure stuff. You know, more Megaloman... Zone Fighter... Sazers... Hmm. If only there was someone capable of tackling the obscure stuff that nobody wants to touch...

Re: Top 10 Monster Bios of 2016
His bio being updated definitely gave him an edge. Any time a Monster Bio gets updated and mentioned on the main site, it gets a surge in traffic... all the same, was surprised just how much of a boost he kept getting.Coobzilla03 wrote:Very surprised Oodako made it.
Anyway, just for contrast, here was the top 10 in 2015. This is of particular note as the new bio design launched that year in the final month, and caused Baragon to surge as one of the first to see the new design. In fact, the Baragon bio has been hugely popular even to this day since that happened:
1. Godzilla (2014)
2. Godzilla (Heisei Series)
3. MUTO
4. Godzilla (Showa Series)
5. Godzilla (1954)
6. Mechagodzilla (Showa Series)
7. Baragon (Showa Series)
8. Mothra (Showa Series)
9. Godzilla Junior
10. King Ghidorah (Heisei Series)

I wonder why Junior is so popular in both years? I never thought he was too interesting.

A question I can't answer. Having Godzilla in his name probably helps quite a bit in terms of just search traffic from Google.Coobzilla03 wrote:I wonder why Junior is so popular in both years? I never thought he was too interesting.
Anyway, to go back another year, here was the top 10 from 2014:
1. Godzilla (2014)
2. Godzilla (1954)
3. Godzilla (Heisei Series)
4. Godzilla (Showa Series)
5. MUTO
6. Mechagodzilla (Showa Series)
7. Godzilla Junior
8. Mothra (Showa Series)
9. Anguirus (Showa Series)
10. Varan

Definitely. I hope you get the opportunity to write some bios for lesser known kaiju eventually.MM Raids Again wrote:Could really use some more obscure stuff. You know, more Megaloman... Nice to see Godzilla (Heisei) make top list.
Also glad to see Jr make it on there, always really liked him.
Apparently Giant Octopus is more popular than I thought.

Really amusing to see the Giant Octopus as part of 2016's top 10. Such an oddball on the list The Godzillas straight-up dominating isn't too surprising.

If only that same person could muster up the beans and watch all of Godman and Greenman in full. Like me. Grow some beans and watch KAWAII JENNY and become a real man, man!MM Raids Again wrote:Could really use some more obscure stuff. You know, more Megaloman... Zone Fighter... Sazers... Hmm. I imagine Ganimes will be in the top 10 for next year now.
