Monster Toy Spotlight #48 - Fake Godzilla

Post by SpaceG92 »

We have Showa Mechagodzilla - but what about that gorgeous Fake Godzilla suit?

Seriously - this thing needs way more attention than it does. I only have the Bandai Memorial Box release (no picture yet, currently the room is a huge mess) but i've been trying to track down the Marmit sculpt for a while now. I know someone has it :P

I found the Bandai Memorial Box Fake MG to be a rather lazy effort and overrated (Basically just their G74 figure with metal on the shoulder). I hope people step up and post some photos of different Fake G figures, as this particular spotlight is very intriguing.

Anyways, here's an online review of above-mentioned (the reviewer likes it quite a bit, so different strokes for diffferent folks):

Sorry for being MIA folks, I've been swamped at work.

Anyways, any takers for Monster Toy Spotlight #49? :?: :monsterx:

I SWORE I posted an image in here. Anyhow - Marmit Fake G. Stylized - yes. However I think it captures the look of the character well. Really, this specific character/machine/suit needs more love. Just like the Godzilla Tower :P
