3rd Xbox in works?

Let's see and what happens? This year is the 10th anniversary of the original Xbox and I could see a 3rd Xbox by 2013.

Ignoring it's a fake story, Microsoft is probably developing the Xbox 3 right now. Whether it heard about Nintendo or not, it's just how the industry works.

I have a got feeling the next xbox will be an xbox/playstaion I just see microsoft buying them out after their trouble with the hacking.

Nintendo's screwed then. Microsoft and Sony equals one nasty duo of game designers. Unless Nintendo is able to really pull something off with whatever their next system is, they don't have much of a chance and Sony/MS will have a monopoly pm the video game empire...scary stuff if you ask me.

That won't happen Sony is very profitable in its game division plus it draws revenue from other electronic sales as well. If anything we'd see a Nintendo MS merger.

I wouldn't be surprised if a 3rd Xbox is being developed, however I think it should come out in 2015. After all, we still need more Kinect games by then. They better not have another 3 rings of death in their new console or else I might get pissed. :mad:

Like gvamp said this will never happen. Sony does way more then just Playstation and as a whole Microsoft would never attempt to buy them.

Considering Kinect was just released last fall it is highly unlikely Microsoft will show anything off regarding a new Xbox. Microsoft and Sony don't need to release new consoles for a while. Nintendo on the other hand needs to in order to keep their lead.

MS is developing new hardware as we speak but I don't think it'll be shown off till maybe next year at the earlist with a 2013 release date.
