I'm sorry, but I agree with JVM here.

i would rather have my TK inbox fill up with reports then my cell phone. And a mod that straight up ignores reports is a little iffy on my part. I don't think I like that idea. I like SS4G and all... I just don't think he is really doing his "Job" as a mod if he doesnt do what a mod is really supposed to do.

The report button has lost its meaning. I say get rid of it, and just have members send PMs or emails (if it needs immediate attention) to the mods/admins.

Or, ya know, we could just punish that certain someone who does all the reporting. That might work too.

Except AH doesn't have any of the admin's numbers...or their Facebook accounts. And since AH seems to be the only one incessantly mashing the Report button like a 5-year old retarded kid keeps banging his head against the desk, I'd say it's perfectly understandable for SS4G to only listen to FB and text reports, since they most likely possess more meaningfulness and they save him from having to swim through a sea of alienhulk-esque reports just to find something that's remotely relevant.

Except the stuff we "bitch" about actually has relevance. AH, on the other hand, bitches about how someone intentionally misspells a word or about how one jokingly remarks how his avatar is better than someone else's (which is why I made this topic in the first place).

After waking up to a board warning issued for "flaming", it's to the point where I dont give a shit if AH gets banned or punished for anything because Im pretty sure it'll never happen. His 30-day ban was shock enough, surprised it wasnt overturned after 24 hours. But honestly - this thread was created by SG2010 after AH reported a post by another member that was excessive to say the least and Stuckey commented on it. If Stuckey commented on it - and Stuckey is the most mellow even tempered member on the board - then it's something that should be addressed. And again, it's AH.

Im a bit curious - Legion - did you get a board warning issue for 'flaming'? How about SG2010 for his rape jokes even though Arrow editted his post once telling him to stop. Or MM or Zilla for trolling and flaming myself on occassion?

And this is pretty much the reason why I report so much all the time, FINALLY someone gets it (and it's wataru of all people ). I'll say it right now: I am sorry for the very insignificant post reportings that lead to this topic being made and I deserve what I got, but good lord you have no idea how annoying it is to see every other topic have multiple posts that are just smart alick responses (sometimes just pictures) or some sort of argument about whatever.

Because while I am a pussy 90% of the time, I have the balls to defend the one guy being pushed around by everyone else. Been in both AH's position before on other boards, as well as my current one on other boards. And while I disagree with plenty of AH's own thoughts, I find the bitching about AH far more annoying than AH's bitching.

Just FYI - reports are noticed and looked into, including the two reported posts in this thread. Problem is that there really isn't much of a way for people to know that unless they're outright told. I usually like to handle stuff like that privately, as I never think it's anyone else's right to know.
