SHODO Ultraman VS Series

Post by cmdmstudios »

SHODO (another branch of Bandai) is releasing Ultraman figures that stand between 3.75 and 4 inches in height and have 15 points of articulation in October.

Each one will be 540yen (about $5.26 including the tax. The first wave includes Ultraman, Zetton, Ultraseven, and King Joe.

I, for one, am really excited about these and hope that more and more arrive. Maybe, SHODO would be inclined to do a similar line with Godzilla and the other kaiju in the future? (A man can dream)
Well, that's certainly a thing.

Bumping the thread because the release for these little guys is this month and if anyone wants to make a post, they won't have to try to find it.

I totally missed this thread. I obtained the full set a couple of months ago now.

Being the size they are, it can be tricky to get them in scale properly with other figures.

The Ultras themselves are pretty flexible, though.

Overall, they're quite nice figures. They seem to have been discontinued already, sadly, but one can still find them here and there for decent prices. They're worth seeking out for Ultra fans.
Frankly, if Bandai wanted to continue this series I'd readily collect it (please, Bandai? Just a few more kaiju at least?)
