Monster Toy Spotlight #32: GEZORA

Post by ArchdukeSquidlyIII »

Big thanks to ebirahsmeg1 for nominating me for this week's monster spotlight!

MONSTER SPOTLIGHT #32: GEZORA

At this year's G-Fest, I finally bought my first figure of this guy, the beautiful Marusan Gezora from 2005.
Image

Here he is with the Marusan Ganimes and Kamoebas figures, who I had also just recently gotten.
Image

I'm definitely interested to see if anybody else has any figures of this guy!
Please refer to me as jiggy22 (or just jiggy!)

I've a soft spot in my heart for Gezora. It's sad it doesn't get much attention nowadays.

Yes, that IS a very lovely M1, I like it!
And here are a few more M1's: black Museum exclusive from 2005 and glow show exclusive from 2006.

Nice, as I've always liked the Bandai Musuem Yog figures. Looking forward to it...

That black variant is really cool, and would fit in perfectly with some of Marmit's "Black Gallery" MH figures...

Here's the X-Plus Bandai Museum Gezora (found off of eBay, I'm sure KlenSeven will take much better pictures for all of us later!)

Followed by the equally beautiful Marmit Build Up Gezora

Someone made their own 6-inch Gezora figure, pretty cool looking!

I almost bit on the Bandai Museum figures but decided not too. Kinda sad I didn't.

Also for those of you that spent time on the Club Tokyo boards, here's TripMasterMunky's take on M1 Gezora (at this point his collection is almost entirely M1 Matangos and Gezoras)

Yes, all glue joints were filled and sealed to blend in except the tentacles on the 2004 series. I determined later that it looked better as the arms didn't really need to be articulated anyway.
Think I have one or two kits left in stock if anyone is interested.

What's a fair price for the Iwakura? Saw one for $27.95 on eBay...
