Well, he came back after being turned to nothing when the Oxygen Destroyer got him. I mean it took 50 years but he still did it.

I think I'm the only person who reads Heisei like individual movies rather than as a whole series. GvKG's modification of events works fine in GvKG. It has a few minor issues, but not too many more than most time travel films.

Nothing gets screwed up until the later films, but those are later films.

Break down:
54 Godzilla is dead
the Godzilla that is in the SHOWA series gets introduced in Godzilla Raids Again they clearly state its a DIFFERENT MONSTER
he fights until TERROR of MECHAGODZILLA

HEISIE time line ignores SECOND GODZILLA AND THE ENTIRE SHOWA run
the GODZILLA in 84 is "GODZILLASAURUS" because of the Futurians teleport him and he gets hit by the RUSSIAN sub making 84 GODZILLA which goes until G VS.D

yes it is that stinking simple
And if you wonder how he eats and breaths and other science facts, just keep thinking to yourself, its just a show you should really just relax.....

Never seen "War of the Gargantuas" or "Torchwood: Children of Earth", eh? Gailah was created by scattered skin cells, and Captain Jack was resurrected by chunks of whatever was left of him when the Millennium TW base was destroyed.

Seriously, though, this is a fantastic article. It clarifies the whole Heisei timeline beautifully without contradicting anything contained in the films. I had always suspected that the explanation was a lot simpler than many made it out to be.

Also, it is not that much of a stretch to believe that there was more than one Godzillasaurus on Lagos. Probably a handful of Pteranodons, ankylosauruses, baragonasaurs and varanopodes as well. I say we mount an expedition.

...What? Dude, that was one of the less intelligent posts I've seen on this forum (and there have been many idiots here). I agree, the ending was kinda sad, but please discuss it in adult terms. That said, welcome to TK and enjoy your time here :)

You forgot to mention "Reptilicus" and how he can resurrect from severed parts.

Excellent article, kpa. However, I do have one question regarding it. Are you suggesting that the '54 Godzilla and the Heisei Godzilla are different species, with '54 Godzilla being the terrestrial/aquatic intermediate proposed by Yamane, and the Heisei Godzilla being a mutant Godzillasaurus?

@Titanosaurus75.
According to the article kpa wrote, it states the 54 Goji and the Heisei Goji are two SEPARATE beings.
Your right on the money for origins; 54 is a ancient monster, Heisei is a mutated Godzillasaur.

I'm a little confused as to what you mean by "separate beings." If you mean separate individuals, I already knew that. I was making sure I was interpreting the article's statements on the origins of the two Godzillas correctly. I guess I should have worded my post better.
