Re: Respect Toonzilla
The third regeneration feat I mentioned comes from the episode DOA when he recovers from a toxin from a biological missile. He goes from the brink of death to full strength in just a few seconds once he gets an antidote.

Re: Respect Toonzilla
Now you're deliberately misconstruing the discussion. The humans were coming to only after receiving large transfusions of water. Even after taking in water, they still looked like shriveled up corpses, far from making a full recovery. Toonzilla, on the other hand, looked good as new. Why? Because he heals fast. Toonzilla also had it worse than the humans. Medusa briefly made contact with her human victims; against Toonzilla, she covered him head-to-toe, and maintained contact for several seconds.LamangoKaijura wrote:Then those humans Medusa dehydrated and were blasted with water must have Toonzilla's same regeneration! That, and the fact they wanted the episode to meet run time.Tomzilla wrote:Now you're deliberately misconstruing the discussion. How do we know Showa and Heisei Godzilla's regeneration wasn't just lazy writing?LamangoKaijura wrote: Again. How do we know that isn't just lazy 90's writing.

Must be my eyes going on me, but Medusa did the same exact thing for several of her human victims. And they're fine and dandy! Man, Nick should be studying those humans cause they have Deadpool/Hulk/Wolverine levels or regen.Medusa briefly made contact with her human victims; against Toonzilla, she covered him head-to-toe, and maintained contact for several seconds.

Re: Respect Toonzilla
Regeneration does nothing for dehydration. All Toonzilla's rapid recovery there shows is that his body can process liquid very rapidly.
Not saying he doesn't possess regeneration to some degree, of course. Because he does. Just saying that particular example is not evidence for it.

Likewise, Zilla Jr. was also shown to have rapid regeneration. Going from near death to full strength in a couple of seconds isn't nothing. The dehydration inconsistency was entirely unrelated.LamangoKaijura wrote: Cause Toho made a whole movie about it.

But you listed that as a reason he has fast regeneration.

The dehydration example had enough contradicting it to make it questionable, but regenerating from the bio weapon could very well have been due to his regeneration. There wasn't anything contradicting that one.LamangoKaijura wrote:But you listed that as a reason he has fast regeneration.

Despite the anti-venom Kraven shot down his throat.

Anti-venom would only get rid of the venom. His body recovering from the damage was up to his healing factor.LamangoKaijura wrote:Despite the anti-venom Kraven shot down his throat.
