My family is a dog family. We have never owned a single dog at any time, and they all have been German Shepherds (my Mom shows dogs). The younger of the two we have now is the first one to clearly love someone else in the family more than my mom, and it just so happens to be me! This is him:



I would post pictures of the older one, but it saddens me to realize I don't have any of her on my current phone.

We did have a Green Iguana about 12 years ago, too. Iggy was a happy little lizard for awhile. I don't know if it was from having to see my mom and sister wearing towels around there head after showering or from the dog food my mom decided the iguana needed for protein, but that thing turned psychotic and busted out of his tank. We found him upstairs in the bathroom, and he gave my dad some nasty scratches before he got a hold of him. He was probably 4 feet long at that point.

Have a miniature snauzer named Ziti(after the food), a ball python named Jake the snake(after the wrestler), and 2 Black Widows named Cindy and Mindy(I know its dangerous but I know what I'm doing trust me I caught 17 so far) I'll get the pics of them as soon as I can.

I have maltese named Wylie who thinks she owns me. A big baby of a yorkie named Baxter.
A 28" lungfish named Louise who is one mean son of a guppy.

We are down to one cat: our gray tiger/tabby Lucy. She used to belong to old neighbors of ours but when she lost her first litter of kittens they booted her out the door. She disappeared for a few weeks during a severe cold snap and then one night was knocking on the back door. At first we didn't think we could keep her until Samantha, our dog, and her became friends.

At one time we had 4 animals in the house: three cats and a dog.

Baby, a hymalaian(sp) long hair: she died in 2007 at the age of 19. She didn't act her age until literally the day she died.
Samantha, a black lab/german shepherd mix: we lost her in 5 years ago this month due to cancer and diabetes at the age of 9. Her death hit me hard. She was my first true love when I adopted her when she was a puppy. I still miss her.
Paws, a tuxedo: we had to put him down this last year at 12 years old. He got sick after Dad died and never recovered.
