Name: Evelyn Blake (Jessica Jones) Created by NSZ
Age: 23
Gender: Female
Battle Armor/attire: Though she mostly sticks to civilian attire nowadays, she still owns a costume. Said costume consists of a one-piece suit, gloves, and boots. The suit is primarily white, with a large light blue v-shaped insignia spanning from shoulder to shoulder. The gloves and boots are the same shade of blue as the insignia.
In a move that can only be described as one of self-loathing, she also still has the costume she wore while enthralled by Mindfucker. Said costume is near identical to her hero costume, save for the colors being swapped with black and red, and it having a mask that covers the entire head with a red v-shaped visor for the eyes. She keeps it as a reminder and a warning about the dangers of making a name for oneself.
Superpowers: Super strength, flight
Weapons: None
Appearance: 5’ 8” in height, has long black hair with purple highlights, light skin, and blue eyes.
Personality: Solemn; a faint layer of regret laces her voice; always looking over her shoulder; tends to drink.
Background Info: A NYC native, Evelyn Blake was an aspiring writer. Aside from writing for the school newspaper during high school, she also received high marks in her writing classes... when she adhered to the prompt given, of course. She was known for being a bit of a free spirit when it came to writing, and her grades would often suffer for it.
Shortly after graduation, she had gotten caught in an accident involving a tanker that was hauling experimental ink. While her parents perished in the accident, Evelyn was merely rendered comatose for two months. Upon waking, she discovered that her hair had developed purple highlights and that she had acquired superhuman strength and the ability to fly. With these newfound powers, she began what would turn out to be a rather uneventful career as a superhero.
And then, one night, it all changed.
It was supposed to be simple, bust a crack-fic dealer that had recently set up shop, hand him over to the authorities, and go home, so when said crack-fic dealer looked as though he was running for his life, she was more than a little surprised. Having apprehended the dealer, she listened as he babbled on about some vile monster that was chasing him. Looking in the direction the dealer came running from, she was stunned to see a beautiful woman in red come around the corner rather than some rock-faced gorilla-man. That was when the dealer became wild, stabbing Evelyn in the leg before running off screaming like a madman.
The mysterious woman came to Evelyn’s aide and escorted her home, even going so far as to volunteer to help stitch her up. As her wound was getting stitched up, Evelyn asked for the woman’s name.
“Of course, how impolite of me. Allow me to introduce myself, my name is Yogini Manjit. But don’t worry, we’ll get to know each other much better momentarily.”
It was then that Evelyn began to hear Yogini’s voice inside her head despite her having clearly finished speaking. Flinging herself away from the woman, Evelyn tried to crawl away as Yogini bombarded her mind. It was all a setup, the crack-fic dealer was nothing more than Yogini’s bait, and Evelyn was now hers.
For one year, one long year, she was Yogini’s servant. Her most prized enforcer, and her favorite plaything, used to impose Yogini’s will upon those who would not willingly bend to it. Evelyn’s not entirely sure of how many people she’s harmed, as her memories of that long year are hazy at best. She’s not even sure how it was that she was freed from Yogini’s control, the most she’s been able to remember after waking up was a man in black.
Since then, she’s sworn off the heroics, deciding to lay low and not draw attention to herself in fear of being found by Yogini. But you know what they say about old habits...
What inspired her to fight and write?: Watching way too much TV and movies when she was a kid lead to her having rather wild dreams, which in turn lead to her jotting all that stuff down onto paper and turning it into stories. She never once thought something as innocent as writing could get corrupted and turned into something ugly, but when a friend of hers fell victim to a bad crack-fic, she decided to wage a campaign against those who would intentionally sully the quality of writing.
Name: Lie Su Feng–Torden aka Thunder Bird (Iron Fist) Created by Spanishbulldog63

Superpowers: Master Martial Artist, Can absorb/produce/channel electricity into her body for enhanced strength/speed/stamina/durability/agility, can manipulate this electricity in her strikes as well as a bird-shaped blast as a last resort but doing so leaves her physically/mentally drained for a time
Weapons: None, or whatever’s closest to her, just pray it doesn’t conduct electricity. Even then, you better hope she doesn’t go for your legs…she plans on talking to Sal about possibly getting something like gun-chakus, maybe even a war hammer like she always joked about.
Appearance: Black hair that runs down to the middle of her back, she keeps it in a ponytail when there’s a fight after a painful lesson from Carol Ina. Her eyes are an electric blue, always shining with a spark of thought or emotion. She stands at 5’9.5”, tan and athletic but deceivingly strong thanks to training under Sal and Carol Ina’s wing for some time. Has a tribal thunder bird tattoo across her back from when she fought the beast.
Personality: Lie Su is a very calm, mellow and deliberate woman when she goes about her business or is around new people, and can be very insightful when her friends need help or advice. But once she warms up to them, or feels like it, she is very enthusiastic and out-going. Even in combat she’s joyful, but she never loses her focus of the goal at hand, and is surprisingly strategic. Despite the cute and bubbly yet calm and focused personality she generally displays, she enjoys the thrill of battle which doesn’t translate well into other issues. So if you mess with her friends, she breaks your legs. You decide to burn down the city while she’s writing? Kiss your kneecaps goodbye. The golden ticket with her is pancakes…lots and lots of pancakes.
Background Info: Lie Su Feng-Torden was the daughter of Dr. Donald Torden, an up-and-coming MD in the world of medicine from Norway but lived with the Lakota and Hua Feng, a historian and archaeologist hailing from China. One changed the textbooks of medicine; the other of various cultures’ mythologies and almost rewrote the art of war. Why almost? Because days after the Scholarite Invasion while on a trek with the Lakota to learn about the Thunder Bird myth, a band of heavily armed men dubbed The Cryptics attacked. Speaking in strange vernaculars and claiming her parents were changing and teaching the world far too much, they attacked their party leaving only Lie Su and a shaman named Santa Claws for dead until the war cries of Squad 63 came to their aid. Santa explained to Lie Su and her saviors about the Thunder Bird, in the flesh, in the canyon of Wakhan Kiya and that Lie Su must be the one to defeat it, as its power runs in her blood, namely her father’s blood, but has yet to be claimed. Upon tackling the great bird and plunging her fists into its electric heart, she took on the mantle of the Thunder Bird, just as generations of her bloodline had before her.
What inspired her to fight and write?: Her travels with Sal and the rambunctious Squad 63 showed her how a world of good writing can be won with both effort and some broken legs. Her participation in the fight against Operation GhostWriter as well as her investigation into The Cryptics is what inspired her the most. Under the tutelage of Sal, she understood how the world needs people like them to write in peace and be free of overzealous "writing kings." She doesn’t mind leading the charge on the streets and underground while her friends in P.L.O.T. and in the Emissaries took care of the headline work.
