Star Wars Battlefront 3 speculation thread

Discuss anything that could be in this game, like game modes, new features characters, story, multiplayer, release date, etc.

I really would love it if they bring the assault feature(heros vs villans) in this game and also bring the the space battles back to the game.

I've seen that video multiple times and I did like the gameplay of it and its pretty much lost now but, if anyone were to start developing it again I would probably go with the developers of SW:TFU to do it.

Enjoyed Battlefront II, but I would MUCH rather have a KOTOR III.

Which takes place quite a ways after KOTOR II if I recall my timelines correctly. No, I want to see a DIRECT sequel. Or maybe a prequel dealing with the Mandalorian Wars. Not saying TOR doesn't look awesome, but still.

I would love that as well, but it appears that TOR will rap up the majority of the plot points posed in KOTOR and KOTOR II.

I prefer single player RPGs over MMOs. I actually played the game for the story, and it's hard to do that in MMOs.

Oh my god, yes! Probably my favorite overall war/conflict in the Star Wars universe. That would have the potential to be epic, but the problem is that you basically already know what is going to happen. It would have to be played as someone else entirely other than Revan and the Exile I feel to reach the same level as the first one.

Exactly. The untold story of the Mandalorian War. Or a side story. Hell, I wouldn't even mind playing through the War as either Revan or the Exile. They'd have to likely do some retconning, or add some more flesh to the story, but even knowing the end and all that we already know, it'd just be so much fun.

I'm waiting for a star wars battlefront collection to be released. That would probably be the biggest indication of a battlefront 3 in the works. And it would be great to be able to play those games online again on the ps3 (or 360). Hell, they could even put the psp ones on there with the added ability to aim up or down.

But seriously, they need to limit or just scrap lightsaber throwing altogether. It makes no sense when fighting soldiers and only two Jedi ever even did it in the films.
