Indeed. I don't know why more vinyls don't implement little things like this, it seems like it's simple enough to do...

That looks mostly very good. I wish they'd be a little more creative with the paint, though, like with early '90s Bandai vinyls.

I have so many G14 figures now, I probably won't get more unless a really good one pops up that is unique from the ones I currently possess; however, for now, I will not collect more of his 2014 incarnation. I own the light and sound, Atomic Roar, Smash Strike, destruction city, and Neca figures of G14 currently. What we need is FeMuto figures to start popping up. I would totally buy a female Muto figure from Bandai (that is, if they decide to release new molds again -_- )

This will make a great late birthday present for my kiddo, he loves G14, calls him Godzilla LOUD.

It's pretty cool for a bigger guy, looks like it'll fit in with all the banks that have been released lately.

I think you really should consider buying the 6 inch figure Bandai Creation figure. it really is a awesome piece easily beats the MMS 2014 figure.

Part of me wants the MMS 2014, but it's so basic and undersized looking compared to the BC version, which I have and love.

I'm looking forward to adding the 12" BC to this mix, would love to add the X-Plus 2014 to the mix but costs too much for what I can afford right now.

The Bandai Japan figure is worth it IMO. Something about its pose really captures the monster's look for me.

Man, I have so many figures of this design. lol

My top 3 Godzilla designs are '54, '84 and 2014, I never get tired of looking at it and seeing all the work it took to land on the design just makes me appreciate it that much more. Funnily though, I don't give the SHMA much consideration, as close to the design as it is, the artistic liberties taken strip away some of the more unique features that define the look. I'm surprised at how faithful X-Plus is.

I kind of wish NECA had come with swap out heads instead of a posable jaw only because the feature works fine for Toho suits where the mounth just opened and closed but because of the CGI, 2014's face really changed to fit his attitude of the moment. NECA's neutral sculpt works fine, I just personally would love a roaring head with angry brows and his snout and cheeks tightened up and nostrils flaring like the airport reveal.

Does that mean it might be coming out sooner than Fall? I wasn't planning on pre-ordering mine until the end of July...

I think it's September. The one I'm getting will be in a white cardboard box and while I'll be doing clearer shots of the finished box, I'm not allowed to take it home since it's for the office show display.

No new 6 inch figure for 2015. This 10 inch Godzilla will be not only the Final piece of G14 merchandise from Bandai creations, it'll also be their only Godzilla release this fall. Below is what it'll look like in the final production box. Because I got a production model (#7), mine came in a white box.
