Toho has called you, Mr. Man Off The Street, and wants to know which unreleased Godzilla film YOU want released on DVD and BRD.

I choose RoG/G85 double feature. I already have great boots of GvsM and GvsB on DVD but G85 and RoG are like 80s flipside movies. You have one purely Japanese about world peace and environmentalism and then the US cut that's about the evil Russians, nuclear weapons and saving poor Japan's ass..

I have removed Megalon, as it is offically on track for an 8/2011 release with Media Blasters.

A Classic-Media type DVD of both THE RETURN OF GODZILLA and the U.S. version,GODZILLA 1985.I'll accept it,even if there's hardly any extras,as long as there's a scene selection and has good quality,I'm good to go.

I was tempted to choose Godzilla vs Megalon, as it's a fun movie and it would be great to complete the Showa series over here, but Godzilla 1985 is just too good. If there could only be one (big if) then I would go with that one.

RoG/G85 double feature seeing as that they're the only Godzilla movies I don't have in my collection.

I swear to whatever this whole distribution mess had better be settled by the time the reboot comes out...

...Oh damn. I love Biollante, but Return takes the cake. A Classic Media sort of presentation with both versions, commentary and some other random stuff would be great, since it's the kind of "Americanization" that always gets the most interesting and in-depth exploration in said commentaries. And having G85 in decent quality at last would be a dream come true. I utterly love both cuts of the movie, but the US version has something the Japanese one doesn't. I can't quite place it, but Raymond Burr's eulogy and Godzilla screaming in pain really add to the ending.

I'm gonna say G84/85. I'm not much a Biollante fan (her design kicked ass, just not a fan of the movie). Megalon was OK but still just doesn't have the "power" G84/85 has

RoG/Godzilla '85 for me, too. The Biollante VHS is still findable, and Megalon doesn't really appeal to me that much. It would be great to have a well-subbed Japanese version of G85.

ROG/G85
Simply because I want to see the Japanse version of this. I don't care much for Megalon, and the international version of Godzilla Vs. Biollante I have on VHS is perfectly acceptable to me (and according to the review on this site, superior).
