IIRC it was a spin off from the Resident Evil series.

I really wish a ps3 version would of been made.

It's part of the Dino Crisis series but I don't like the characters in this as much as in DC 1 or 2. DC3 sucks though.

The game was similar to Dead Aim which was a light gun game as well from what I can remember. You are better off playing House of Dead or Lost World: JP for the Arcade.

the light gun was optional.... i always used the standard controller

So it was just like RE: Deam Aim, gotcha. Wasn't too crazy about that game, but it was nice they gave you the option to play with a standard controller.

Deam Aim was okay, I rent it once and I was bored with it. Resident Evil should stick with the game play then playing off as a House of Dead clone. Too bad that this game was the last game that had to do with anything with Dino Crisis. Maybe Capcom will reboot Dino Crisis or have Dino Crisis 4 be a direct sequel to the second game, and kicking out DC3 out of the canon.

I have not played DC1-2 in years, but I remember loving the second the most. I plan to re-play them again since they are on PSN, but I never got the chance to do so.

Capcom does not like to bring back old series unless their is enough fan support. Which is why we got SF4 and MVC3 since fans wanted them for years, and their XBLA/PSN ports of the past games did well. I can see Capcom doing DC4 if the first two games sold well on PSN.

Everything. The gameplay was awful since the controls where god awful, the story was shit with the whole space setting, it was a Xbox exclusive (Which made things worst due to the controller that it had), and I remember that the enemies in the game aren't real dinosaurs at all.

Maybe if the controls where not so god awful. I miss Regina and the first two games hold some Nostalgia since I remember renting the game for the first time back in 1999. My Mom did not seem to care if the game was M rated since it was a dinosaur game, and know that I knew it was not real.

No the camera was terrrible in the game. That was the biggest issue with the game was the camera, you'd be fighting a group of enemies and the camera would pan to behind a wall.

Other issues where the dinos wheren't based on anything real, they looked like they where mutated by the T-Virus. Raptors looked like hammerhead sharks. T-Rex looked zombified.
