@MM the Destroyer: If you tried to get the G2014/MUTO eggs from a domestic US source, then you WOULD pay too much for them. I got mine from HLJ, along with the MMS vinyls, all shipped together to save $. I believe the eggs cost me $6-7 apiece, after yen conversion.

The Bandai American releases will be $6.99 each, so now there isn't much of a point to import the Japanese releases. It'll cost about the same.
But yeah, most of the imported sources were hiked up to about $15 each. That's why I'm really hoping BA continues the line with the classic egg figures.

What does the name tag next to the box say? Is it the release date?

It says TBD, sadly.

So, did that first BC 2014 Godzilla ever release? I never saw him in stores.

No, and if I didn't value my eyesight so much, I'd bleach my eyes so I never had to see that shit again.[/quote]

Damn it! See, this is how I know that all the stores in my area suck... All the TRU in my area never had any NECA Godzillas, and the only BC figures I saw were the sparkly looking G2k, the 1954 figure, and King Seesar. That BC 2014 figure looks pretty damn cool.

For some reason, the G14 figure seems to be in tiny retail. In other words, hardly any stores are selling it (unlike their previous figures).

My local TRU must have got in one box, because they had around eight on the shelf all at once. The figures must have sold quickly, because within a week or two they were all gone. I haven't seen them anywhere at retail since that time.

Same here, but the other BC vinyl figures warm the pegs and so did the other BC Godzilla 2014 products, at least at my TRUs, so I'm guessing they ordered in small quantits, but it was one of BC's better and people were crazy for quality 2014 figures so it got bought up, there were about half a dozen at the TRU I got mine from when I went and within a week or two, all gone, with King Cesar still up there. I'm thinking that's why chibis never hit TRUs, mine's still trying to unload the non-2014 ones.

**EDIT**

Better pics from toynewsi.com.

Sorry I didn't get more/clearer shots there. I don't know the toyline well, and the Bandai rep at the booth didn't ID that one as a new figure. I really just took the picture as a "And this stuff was there, too!" record.
