What Band/Artist do you dislike the most?

The title said it all, I choose dislike since hate is such a strong word . The band's and music artist that I dislike the most are (In no order):

- 50 Cent
- Big Time Rush
- Eminem
- Good charlotte
- Dragonforce
- Fallout Boy
- Lil wayne
- Justin Bieber
- My Chemical Romance
- Panic at the Disco
- Pretty much anything that is mainstream now these days

-LMFAO. I'm generally indifferent to mindless party music, but this is about as obnoxious and vapid as they come.

- ridiculously specific Metal genres. If you feel that your super hardcore grimdark metal band is so special it needs to form a sub-sub-sub-sub genre to be accurately described, you are an asshole. (Technical Death Funk Sludgecore).

-A genre almost exclusively defined by it's lyrical content, I cannot stand Country music as a whole. Any complaints about mainstream hip-hop can be applied doubly to Country. Not to mention it's creatively stagnant and bland.

- Nirvanna. Angst? Blah.

Which reminds me, I have little respect for any band that goes out of their way to sound "Indie" or be as "non-Mainstream" as possible. It's about as fake as trying to be as mainstream as possible.

The "mainstream" is just what everyone else likes. So to be truly "not in the mainstream" you'd have to make music that no one liked ever. It's this silly boogyman of music fandom; can anyone define "Mainstream" off the top of their head without using the words "Pop, Rap, Hip-Hop" etc. and base a reason to hate the mainstream off of that definition?

You hardly hear any good rock music on the raido since on Mix 106.5, it's usally rap, and rock bands like Big Time Rush, Good charlotte, Nickelback, and Fallout Boy. I never hear Disturbed, GNR, or Kiss on the popular raido channels that people usally listen to.

The local station here (K-Rock) plays primarily Loverboy, GNR, Trooper, Kiss, and other varieties of classic Rock. Also Beatles in the morning and Pink Floyd at night. It's easily the most popular station in the valley here.

^That would be a better way of putting it than saying "duuuurrrr mainstream sucks". The most popular station here plays MAINSTREAM rock like Disturbed, Puddle of Mudd, KISS, Metallica, The Beatles, AC/DC, Three Days Grace, and Nickelback. It's all mainstream. There's a reason Metallica, KISS, AC/DC, Disturbed, etc are worth millions upon millions of dollars... mainstream success.
