You're thinking Central Washington. That's nothing but a desert. Out here, it's all mountains and trees. There's a reason why we're called "The Evergreen State".

Near the Kansas City area of Kansas. Far away from the Hyper-Conservatives that live in the middle of the state, in the suburban area. Kansas actually has relatively little farm land. Much less than most people assume.
