Godzilla: The Look/Appearance Speculation

I'm hoping for what we saw on the T-shirt, as that is what I've always wanted to see in an american Godzilla movie. A sleek and new Godzilla totally fitted for an american film, not the Sharkzilla that kept getting posted on the general Godzilla 2012 thread on the old forum. I like where they're going so far, and if not that Godzilla, something modified from that look.

I would personally like to see something like this design crossed with the shirt reveal:

It's on Tohokingdom's News Section, you should try looking around on here:http://www.tohokingdom.com/news/2010/comic-con_godzilla.html

Take G54, keep him brown instead of black, and slim him down, then give him the G2K spines.

Simplistic, but it'll give us a new look

^Looks like the GMK and G2k design fused into one. I like it a lot.

Yeah, we've had that one tossed around a couple times. Looks real nice, though.

Yes, I was talking about this design on the forums some time ago. I think it's pretty profound and innovative, qualities I would like to see in LP's Godzilla design.

I don't think he should look that spazzed out. He should look almost neutral. But that depends on how they depict him.

No description i could try an explain could come out as good as that right there. Maybe not exact but that's how Godzilla should look in the American Remake. The Pale white Eye's of GMK, Those Spines look great more like the Original mixed with G-2000, Body an face are well shaped an designed, make his skin color a Grey or Black (not green) an give him the Classic roar of Godzilla 1954 mixed with Godzilla 1985.

He would look absolutely flawless in my own opinion.

I love that look but I'd still prefer pupils, although maybe I might even end up liking it that way. It's a badass design.

I know I'll probably start an argument over all this, but I wouldn;t mind seeing a green Godzilla with reptilian skin, at least if it fits in the movie's art style and the characters origins.

I would have a black or gray Godzilla if we get a remake of the 1954 film or something similar with a Godzilla that is dark and brooding.

Personally I wouldn't want a dark film like the 54 incarnation. However, that doesn't mean I want to see a shallow, Transformers style film. I would want a film with great battle scenes yes, but also a GOOD story, maybe something like Godzilla vs. Biollante or Godzilla vs. Destoroyah.

The Godzilla I would like to see would have green and black reptilian skin, KIND OF like this, albeit much darker:

http://img.webme.com/pic/s/spinosaurida ... tiacus.jpg

I remember seeing a Spinosaurus design back in Japan in a game similar to Dinosaur King that had the exact color I wanted to see on Gojira, but I can't seem to find it...

As for my take on Godzilla, here's a description:

My take would have a very humanoid body structure similar to the GFW Godzilla. Would have a moderate amount of dinosaurian features, but not to the point where it overpowers the design/makes it a generic T-rex. Godzilla would have SLIGHTLY digitigrade legs and a somewhat S-shaped theropod like neck, pronounced hand talons, a baryonyx like "hook" claw, an alligator like tail for swimming, and reptilian green black skin with texture similar to this:

I don't mind if they try to make a blend of Godzilla and a dinosaur.

Some Saurian features would be nice... but only some. It's not something that should be taken too far.

But something like this is going to far.

The design works in a way that it doesn't matter if he's good or bad. Like Heisei, but not fat (they can fix that in CG).
