Looks pretty good!
I will admit that I'm pretty upset that the head/mouth doesn't move at all. Seems like those are the places I would want articulation most of all but it still looks like a pretty good figure for BC.

Well, it looks like Godzilla and the male MUTO look good together, at least, scale-wise. Haven't seen really any pics of the female yet.

Wonder where the best place to get the full set is. They're already demanding ludicrous prices on Yahoo Japan for the full set, but I was expecting as much.

I think the set will come down in price after a couple of months. I heard the official release date was August 26th, so hopefully after that, there will be more on yahoo auctions japan and some will have reached the states shortly after.

Unfortunately, this probably won't be the case. This set appears to be like many of the recent Ultraman sets, where one figure is significantly rarer than the rest (in the case, the Atomic Ray Godzilla). The "rare" figures alone can go for upwards of $50, and sometimes a lot more. And so far it's looking like Godzilla will follow this trend.

The three regular ones, though, should be fairly obtainable soon. But if you want the full set, jump at any chance you see.

Yes, I always buy full sets of gashapon/trading figures when possible, as buying separate figures and trying to obtain a full set that way is generally much more expensive (especially when shipping is factored in).

Not only is it expensive, but it's also often a headache to hunt them down separately from different retailers.

Does any think that the JAKKS Godzilla will be rereleased during the holidays with sound? Kind of like what apparently happened with the Darth Vader figure?

I highly doubt it. I don't know how it is everywhere else but have have seen JAKKS Godzilla everywhere and I think now that the hype of the movie is calming down I doubt they would focus on something else IMO

For anyone interested in the 2014 HG Gashapons, HLJ has them available for pre-order now:

But it doesn't mean that you will get two full sets, maybe one full set for sure, but that itself is not guaranteed. It's basically a long, blind, white cardboard box. I have purchased Ultraman sets from them before and that is how I know.

Are there any other websites selling pre-orders for the HG set? HLJ isn't good with my payment method and I'm afraid eBay will have jacked up prices on a complete set.

I haven't been able to really find them anywhere else yet, so I'm going with HLJ. I feel kind of lucky not to have to resort to eBay/Yahoo Japan to get these guys.

They haven't had the set on their site for the past couple weeks, and it wasn't up when I just checked again yesterday.

The site has been up for hours now. Also, it would be the same thing with Ami Ami. They sell the blind long cardboard box with 8 figures inside, just like HLJ.
