We spend most of the film wondering when Godzilla is going to blow up, and not actually doing anything important. Destoroyah is a pretty generic villain, though it has an interesting background. Even the fights aren't anything special or new, so I was unimpressed by them.
Overall, I'm satisfied with the way that they handle Godzilla's death, but other than that, this film is fairly uneventful.
