Long Matches vs Short Matches

This mini forum is getting a little quiet so i wanted to throw out a poll.

Do you prefer long, descriptive matches or short, but sweet matches?

The shorter matches are easier of swallow, but a lot of the time, the longer matches have awesome backgrounds or developments. Depends on my mood.

I like short...they can have decent backgrounds, but as you said, the longer ones are much more detailed and well-described.

Usually, like what Hayes said, longer matches have a lot more of the development to fit the mood of the battle.

If a KWC is 4 paragraphs, but each of them are about 7 sentences long, is that too short?

Too short. Gotta be at least 2 pages long for a one-sided match. 3 pages for a moderate match.

Exactly, more explanantion is better for me. Ex. Frankenstein in the recent match. He explained how he arrived on the island or he could have said, "By chance Frankenstein arrived on Faro Island." Gotta say I do not like the latter.

There was more explaination to that, it was linked to his fate at the end of his movie of falling into the earth and wondering underground and coming out of the ground on Faro Island.

In my opinion, depends on how it goes. Both are really enjoyable.
