it's probably the most well-made fan suit I've ever seen, but the proportions are really odd and I can't bring myself to love it.
I respect the obvious craftsmanship at work here though. it must have taken a really long time to make.

i also noticed the weird proportions, but if you read the comments he states that he did the large head as inspiration form the Beast from 20000 Fathoms and the original maniquine of the 1954 model... so ill let that slide...

I read that, but it's not just the head, it's the whole thing overall. like I said it's an amazing suit, but it could've had the big headed rhedosaurus/shodai goji look while looking less awkward, I think. though I don't know the first thing about suit making so maybe the proportions are for function's sake. I could never make anything as remotely awesome as that, lol.

drawing =/= sculpting. I've dabbled in sculpting but I'm not great at it. I'd also be clueless as to how to build the inner parts and whatnot. I feel like some of that might require math and measurements, which I am horrible at. maybe if I worked with someone who knew how to do it, but definitely not on my own. it seems like it would be a fun project to work on with a group of friends though.

I don't know anyone I could work on a suit with either. I'm starting art classes soon though so maybe I'll meet some people I could wrangle into helping me. it would be cool to throw something together for G-Fest, even if it isn't as high quality as the suit in this topic.

and coincidentally Mothra is my boyfriend's favorite monster and the reason he got into Godzilla. weird lol

The suit is high-quality, but not bulky enough. It's like GINO - it's well-designed, but it's still not a good design.

Someone was making a suit and showing images here, along with Hedorah and Ebirah suits, they were actually in town but I missed the opportunity.

Looks like a fusion between GMK Godzilla, and Kiryu Saga Godzilla. I like the suit a lot.

That suits looks like a fusion between GMK and GFW, pretty badass looking. I like it, unlike GINO at least this design still has the Godzilla vibe in it. So far this is the best fan made Godzilla suit.

The issue with the big head is that the head is out of proportion with the entire body.

The Rhedosaurus had a proportionate head compared to his body. This doesnt and makes it unattractive.

As others have already said, the suit looks great and is probably the best fan-made Godzilla suit ever... but that head. That friggin' gigantic head just kills it. Tribute to the Rhedosaurus or not, it looks ridiculous on Godzilla. It's too distracting and it kills an otherwise awesome suit.

The design is pretty clever....they drew inspiration from multiple films:

Also, it looks pretty sweet when put in it's "element". I just wish I had more time to shoot with those guys:

At first, I found the oversized head to be a little jarring. But eventually it grew on me.

I REALLY don't like this suit. I saw it in person at GFest and while it is extraordinarily well-made, I cannot bring myself to like its aesthetics.

My favorite fan-made suit was a Japanese suit I saw once made to look almost exactly like the suit from Ghidrah the Three-Headed Monster. There's another fansuit floating around on YouTube as well (also Japanese) that is, again, the Ghidrah suit. They may be one and the same though I'm pretty sure the neck was longer on the Youtube suit.

Here's the former:

EDIT: Why can't I post images?

DAMN. That Ghidrah suit is just...fantastic. I love it.

As for the suit mentioned earlier...the guy who made it is amazing at making a good suit. The suit itself look like it was as high quality as some of the Millenium Goji suits. With that said, I can't bring myself to like the design. The larger head COULD have worked had the rest of the body had better proportions. But here, they're just way off.

The suit made by billagodzilla on the old forums had a great design(the neck was a bit long, though). And, while pretty high quality for a fan made suit, it didn't reach the quality of the suits mentioned above. I'd love to see billagodzilla and someone who's more experianced work together and make a Godzilla suit.

Looks great. Love the bits and details, and the people who made that are clearly incredibly talented. But the head...don't much care for the head.
