I did, not only were none of those performances scary, but they were all stereotypical AFI/Academy Award nominations. I also don't get the hate on HAL 9000, the guy was doing nothing more than self defense and if you watch 2010 his end is ultimately tragic. I'm also wondering why people find The Exorcist scary, it just isn't. :?

I just finish The Pebble and the Penguin review, funny as hell. I need to catch up since the last review I watch from the NC was The Phantom. I need to catch up with Cinema Snob, and Linkara as well.

I saw his Ernest Scared Stupid review eariler this week, and I thought it was meh.

Had I not rewatched the movie at the beginning of summer, I would've disagreed with him. But now all I want to do is go back in time and kick myself in the nuts for being scared of this movie. Although when you take into account that the monster was female in the book, it does add a bit of creepiness to the movie.

RL clowns are still scary as all hell though...

Honestly, trying to do only a 2 part normal tv mini-series for "It" is doomed from the begenning. First off, I thin It is Stephen King's longest book ever at 1,100+ pages, with maybe the Stand being longer, so the book has a freaking lot of story to it. Try to fit that into only a 2 part movie with commercial breaks. Also, there's some very controversial elements in the book, involving racisim, gender, violence and sexuality (both preference and age), stuff that woudn't cut it on TV. So yeah, besides Tim Curry, this one failed. Although I didn't care for NC's continual bashing of Stephen King himself, I mind if he's not a fan, but "It" is my favorite stand alone book ever and The Dark Tower series is my second favorite book series ever, second only to Dune series.

I take it the Critic never read the book or even realized that It technically fed on the fear of others (hell, that was stated in the movie if I remember correctly). The book also explained that It was a cosmic god. And to be honest I thought It was a great movie.

So anyone else watch his second part of his Top 11 F**k ups? So glad I'm not the only one who noticed that there was a reason Mr. Freeze didn't cure his wife in Batman and Robin. Never caught the dolphin punch part though, thought he was aware. Oh well.

I expected Venom's lack of screen time to be MUCH higher up on the list...

I can't believe he reviewed the second JP then the 3rd one? I mean most people argee that the second movie was a good movie. Too bad he might not review the Spawn movie from 1997 since he said he thought that movie was okay.

I did and I mostly agreed with it. I can understand why Spider Man 3 is somewhat disliked, but it got waaaaaaaay too much hate. Only thing I don't agree with is it being "too comicbooky", it's a comicbook movie, if anything it is bad if it is NOT like a comicbook; but not liking corny lines is understandable.

Wait, what?

Edit: Never mind. Wow, that review was obnoxiously nitpicky and nearly everything he complained about can easily be explained.

...his review of TMNT Coming Out of Our Shell was actually funny. I remember begging mom and dad for tickets and owning the magazine and cassette tape. But most of his other stuff is utter garbage. He's not a nostaligia critic, he's a Wikipedia rat.

So I decided to give him a chance yesterday, I watched his review on the first 4 or so episodes of TMNT and his spider-man video. I actually laughed. :O

I love the bit how he says April O Neil is the worst person ever.

Seeing him review Spawn would be pretty awesome since he would bitch about how annoying Violator is. I still think he should have reviewed JPIII instend. Since he is reviewing early 2000's movies, maybe he should review Godzilla 2000 (The dub version).

Little Nemo actually looked good from the clips I saw in his review.
