I think you'd have better luck checking at an F.Y.E. or a Barnes and Noble than a Walmart.

I could never find the Pacific Rim calendar at Walmart, or even Booksamillion. I did spot a Sharknado one at Kmart though.

Nonetheless I already bought the calendar on Amazon but I'm keeping it sealed in plastic until I get a second one.

There are NO calenders at my Wal-Marts. Ever.
Plus you named some pretty popular things there.
Well, the last time Goji was this popular in the 'States, was back in '98, cuz of GINO. Don't remember if there were any calenders for that one or not. G2014 made $200 mil. at the US Box Office - I wouldn't be surprised to see calenders at places like Wal-Mart or Target...

I just picked up the G'14 Christmas ornament at a Hallmark store. It's a nice sculpt, looks pretty cool, but is noticeably smaller than the classic Godzilla line from American Greetings. So ironically, the biggest Godzilla will be the runt of the litter in your holiday display. To be fair, it costs less ($17.99; the others are in the $25 - $30 range), and is actually light enough to hang on a tree. The G'14 roar is nicely reproduced, and it repeats a couple of times, though the footsteps that also play sound more like gunshots or whip cracks. They pale in comparison to the '54 drumbeats. Overall, I'm happy with it. Recommended.

UPDATE: I also now have the 60th Anniversary ornament from American Greetings. Very cool, and quite a bit larger than the Hallmark G'14 (but so is the $35 price tag). When I first saw the pics in G-Fan, I was disappointed. It looked too much like the very first one they did. But seeing it now, WOW. It's black and white, and glows brightly from within when activated. The original Godzilla: KotM logo is on the side. A really nice tribute to the original film, and looks quite striking.

So...

They're putting out a golf club cover.

How many of you are going to get this despite not owning any golf clubs?

Until I watched that video, I never realized how tiny the head was on the Bandai Japan figure. :dizzy:

I'm assuming that the stores will get him at the end of month, correct?

It is the end of the month o.o Entertainment Earth has had it in stock for weeks but it hasn't been sighted anywhere else?

I didn't even know the Collectors Edition DVD Set was out! Heres a review video link

The statue doesn't look very accurate... the head is very square-ish looking...

Don't know if this has been talked about on here already. Since the statue/ set is limited to 1500 pieces, it should be quite difficult to get your hands on...

^The fact that it's only available in Germany was enough 'difficult' for most of us, not to mention the price.
It does look pretty un-proportionate but the details are lovely.

Many thanks lrmrtrk, came here looking for an evaluation of the figure. I noticed the poor proportions on the promo pic, so held off until I knew more. Glad I passed, would expect far better quality and accuracy for 130 Euros.
