I thought it was an off statement at first, but it does make sense when you consider it. Humans have harnessed nuclear power as a weapon, and all we need to do is push a button to let it loose. Godzilla and humanity both possess the power to destroy the world.

Well considering Godzilla destroys stuff because he more then likely is suffering a bad case of revenge and PTSD from his mutation and King Ghidorah is a living apocalypse that destroys planets just for fun, I think I'd rather have some fun instead of always being pissed.
